NOTE: This page is about the movie version of Wakko Warner, which is a different incarnation of the character |
Wakko Warner is the titular main protagonist of the direct-to-video animated film Wakko's Wish which served as the series finale of Animaniacs until the 2020 reboot.
Like his TV counterpart, he is voiced by Jess Harnell.
His Good Ranking[]
What Makes Him Close to Being Pure Good?[]
- He lacks most of his mainstream counterpart's comedy and inconsistent nature, focusing on a more empathetic and generous nature due to the movie being set in a somewhat darker and more dramatic alternate reality.
- He loved his older brother and younger sister and tried to cheer them up when they doubted the future.
- Despite envying his brother's relationship with their sister, he never took it out on anyone or anything nor did he try to break them up, as he understood that Yakko was acting as a father figure to him and Dot due to the absence of their parents and breaking them up would have been selfish.
- He inspired his fellow villagers to never give up despite them being put through constant misery as a result of excessive taxation by Baron Von Plotz at the order of King Salazar (though Plotz kept most of the money for himself).
- He left Acme Falls to try and make money to save Dot's life when she came down with an illness and needed an operation.
- He promised to use his earned ha'penny to save Dot's life, calling it a "present to her from me".
- He felt guilt over being unable to pay for Dot's operation as he watched Yakko tell her favorite bedtime story, the story of her birth.
- He wished upon a star, hoping against hope itself for a miracle to save his sister's life.
- While he did get annoyed by Pip the Good Fairy, who congratulated him on choosing the right star, he didn't lose his temper about it.
- He helped Dot cross a dangerous ravine despite nearly falling to his death. He was also grateful for Yakko saving him from falling.
- He played along with his sibling shenanigans in order to keep King Salazar away from the star or killing him and his siblings.
- Intended to wish for his sister back to life when he thought she had been murdered by Salazar'a cannons. (he changed his mind when he found out she was playing possum to buy him time)
- He wished for two ha'pennies to not only save Dot's life, but restore Warnerstock's economy. This indirectly caused the wishes of the other characters to come true. Including, but not limited to
- Dr. Scratchensniff and Hello Nurse finally starting a successful elixir business
- Pinky becoming a stable mouse, so he could stay close with Pharfignewton
- Brain becoming the prime minister, which he considered close enough to being ruler of the world
- The Goodfeathers getting some respect
- Slappy's tree coming back to life
- Skippy making some friends
- Buttons finally getting rewarded for saving Mindy
- Rita and Runt finally getting a home
- Ralph becoming a traffic cop (even though he already was a law enforcer, which is what he wanted)
- Baron Von Plotz becoming king, by opening a burger restaurant called Burgermeister King
- And the unidentified wishes Flavio, Marita, Chicken Boo, Minerva Mink, and the rest of Acme Falls... save for the Mime
- He and his siblings literally kicked Salazar out of his palace when they learned of their parentage, allowing them to become the rightful co-monarchs of Warnerstock and bring the Kingdom into a golden age. Salazar was then attacked off screen and presumably killed by his own dogs.
What Prevents Him From Being Pure Good?[]
- He did heckle Salazar with his siblings in a "special friend" scenario found in most other Animaniacs cartoons. However, his part was portrayed as self defense, so it's a minor prevention.
- He dropped a safe on the Mime for being boring at the end. Ironically, this is also portrayed as an act of generosity. It's mostly Yakko's fault as this was his wish, though, so this is a minor prevention.
