Luka Couffaine is one of the two tritagonists (alongside Kagami Tsurugi) of Miraculous: Tales of Ladybug and Cat Noir. He's Juleka's older twin brother. In season 3, he receives the Snake Miraculous from Ladybug, which, when inhabited by the kwami Sass, can transform him into Viperion, a snake-themed superhero.
He is voiced by Maxime Baudouin in the original French version and by Andrew Russell in the English dub.

What Makes Him Close to Being Pure Good?[]
In general[]
- While he was akumatized twice, showing he is not incorruptible, both times it was for a good motive, with him wanting to undo an injustice, so it was just a heating up period.
- He is very nice and supportive to everyone.
- Many times, he uses music to calm down or help stressed people (mostly Marinette).
- He has no corrupting qualities in general.
Season 3[]
- Despite being in love with Marinette, he never pushed her boundaries and was always very understanding.
- In "Reflekdoll", he encourages his sister, Juleka.
- After he received the snake Miraculous, he defeated Desperada, and every other villain Ladybug has called him to fight.
- In "Miracle Queen", he saved Marinette from the magical wasps of the titular villain.
Season 4[]
- In "Optigami", he helped Wayhem to try to sneak out through the air vent.
- When he discovers Ladybug and Cat Noir's secret identities as Marinette and Adrien in "Wishmaker", he reversed time so nobody else would know and kept their secret.
- He helped the Miraculous Team as a whole in multiple occasions.
- In "Ephemeral", he reversed time and saved the universe from being destroyed by Shadow Noir, who discovered Ladybug and Cat Noir's secret identities and successfully stole their Miraculouses.
Season 5[]
- In "Migration" when Luka refuses to be part of Bob Roth Records after he was tricked into signing a contract, Monarch tries to akumatize him back into Silencer than he realizes that Luka knows Ladybug and Cat Noir's true identities, However, Luka destroys his guitar before he was fully akumatized, which lead to Bob Roth being akumatized into Gold Record in order to capture and get information from Luka about Ladybug and Cat Noir's true identities. After Bob Roth is deakumatized, Luka leaves Paris with his dad, Jagged Stone, and his agent, Penny Rolling, to protect Ladybug and Cat Noir's true identities as Luka will return to Paris once Monarch is defeated.
- He at some point joined the Order of the Guardians alongside Jagged Stone and Penny Rolling.
- In "Re-creation", he fought off the Miraculized alongside Su-Han, Jagged Stone, Penny Rolling, and Fang and helped Su-Han as he was affected by Nightormenter's power and returned to Paris with them to join the fight after Bunnyx informed them of the situation.
Season 6[]
- In "Mister Agreste," after Marinette reveals to Luka that Gabriel was Monarch and shares her struggles of keeping this secret from Adrien—fearing he might be akumatized if he learns the truth—Luka acknowledges that he is aware of some things too. He then asks Marinette to give him the Ladybug Miraculous so he can help resolve the situation.
What Prevents Him From Being Pure Good?[]
- He slightly fails the admirable standards to Ladybug and Cat Noir, who already saved the world (and sometimes the universe) more times than him.
