Brunnhilde, also known as the Valkyrie is a major character of Marvel Cinematic Universe. She is the reigning sovereign of New Asgard and leader of the fallen Valkyrie; shield maidens who swore to defend the throne.

- She and her Valkyries’ team tried to stop Hela from invading Asgard, although they failed and Hela killed all the Valkyries, except her.
Thor: Ragnarok[]
- She saved Thor from some scavengers when he first arrived at Sakaar, although later she kidnapped him and take him to the Grandmaster.
- Despite Thor failed on the Grandmaster’s champion’s battle, who was Hulk, she felt sorry for him.
- She showed to have a close relationship with Hulk as he was her close friend.
- Despite at first refusing to help Thor get back to Asgard, she let him go and warned him about Hela being more powerful if she stays too much in Asgard.
- When Thor escaped with Hulk and the Grandmaster was worried about Hulk, she along with Loki tried to get Hulk back home at Sakaar.
- When Loki attempted to kill her, she defended herself from him.
- After Loki revealed her tragic backstory to her, she showed that she cares for her Valkyries sisters, as one of them sacrificed her life to save her from being killed by Hela.
- She defended Thor and Bruce (who at first unknown to her, he was Hulk) from an alien bully by electrocuting him with one of her advices.
- After having enough of running away from her past, she decided to join Thor and Bruce on their team called the Revengers and helped them get back to Asgard and save it from Hela.
- She trapped Loki to prevent him from causing more trouble to her, Thor, and Bruce.
- She freed Korg, Miek, and all the Grandmaster’s candidates, take off their electronic devices and helped them start the revolution.
- When the Grandmaster sent some of his scrappers to catch Thor to prevent him from getting back to Asgard, she saved him from being targeted at his ship and helped Bruce getting aboard ito the ship, just before Topaz destroyed her ship, but she managed to survive.
- She and Thor destroyed all the scrappers’ ships to prevent them from following them and shooting at Bruce in the ship.
- She, along with Thor and Bruce, get back to Asgard in time to save it and stop Hela.
- After discovering that Heimdall got all the Asgardians to safety and he needed help to get them out of the planet, she along with Thor and Bruce helped him.
- She took Thor to the palace to distract Hela, while she along with Bruce and Heimdall get the people to the Bifrost, and she even wished him good luck by telling to him “to not die.”
- She tried to protect the people by shooting at the Fenris Wolf to prevent him from eating them, though later Bruce took care of the wolf when he transformed himself back into Hulk.
- She helped Thor, Loki, Hulk, Heimdall, Korg, Miek, and her team battle Hela’s army to get the Asgardians aboard into Loki and Korg’s ship.
- She and Thor battle Hela to give enough time to Loki to put Surtur crown into the Eternal Flame to stop her and get all the Asgardians into the ship to escape. After Loki managed to put Surtur’s crown into the Eternal Flame and resurrected him and Hela was completely distracted, she managed to stab her sword into her, avenging all her Valkyries sisters, Hela had killed in years. And while she and Thor did the right thing, they still felt sorry for causing the Ragnarok and destroying all Asgard into millions of pieces in space.
- After Thor become the new king of Asgard, she joined his crew and she helped get all the Asgardians go to Earth, just later before Thanos appeared to stole the Space Stone.
- She subverted most of her corrupting factors at the climax of the movie, including being servant of the Grandmaster and kidnapping warriors for his arena.
Avengers: Endgame[]
- After 5 years, since Thanos erased the half of the universe, she helped some of the citizens at New Asgard have a normal life. She helped Hulk and Rocket Raccoon get into Thor’s house there.
- After Hulk resurrected all the heroes Thanos have killed and he and his team needed help to stop past Thanos, she along with the other heroes assisted the Avengers to defeat Thanos and his army from doing the same mistake his original self did before.
- She helped Spider-Man with the Infinity Stones get to Ant-Man’s van to return the stones back to its original place, just before Thanos ordered to shoot all of his army’s weapons, but then Captain Marvel saved them.
- She was one of the many superhero girls who assisted Captain Marvel on getting the Infinity Stones to Ant-Man, although later Thanos destroyed the van.
- After Thanos’ ultimate defeat and death and Tony Stark sacrificed himself to save the universe, she along with the other heroes mourned and kneels his death.
- When Thor decided to go protect the galaxy with the Guardians of the Galaxy and he offered her the title of “King of New Asgard,” she kindly accepted and she would make new changes at New Asgard.
Thor: Love and Thunder[]
- One year later, when Thor joined the Guardians of the Galaxy and Jane made a surgery at the hospital, she turned New Asgard a paradise for tourists, making ship cruises, tours, rides, and a live reenactment of the prelude to Ragnarok, and even sponsored new products to commercials.
- After Gorr invaded New Asgard, she along with Thor, Korg, and Jane (who become herself the Mighty Thor), tried to stop him and his Shadow Monsters.
- After Gorr escaped with some kidnapped Asgardian children, she along with Thor, Jane, and Korg went and tried to find them.
- She and Thor convinced Jane and Korg to go to Omnipotence City to recruit an army of gods and go save the children and stop Gorr from killing the remaining gods.
- She used one of her cruise ships to help her, Thor, Jane, and Korg get into the Omnipotence City. When Jane questioned about going to the mission, she convinced her to go and she even revealed that she missed her sisters and the battlefield, and considered Jane “a sister to her.
- She, along with Thor, Jane, and Korg went to the Omnipotence City to recruit their army and save the children from Gorr.
- After Thor still have feelings for Jane, she was happy for him.
- Although she knew about the gods will not help them and Gorr planned to get into Eternity and make a wish, she formed a family plan to stole Zeus’ thunderbolt and use it as a weapon against Gorr.
- When Zeus and the gods refused to help Thor, Jane, Korg, and her save the children from Gorr and he attempted to lock them at the temple at Omnipotence City, she along with Jane and Korg helped him fight Zeus and his guards.
- When Korg was turned into a head, after being targeted by Zeus, she guarded his life by keeping him safe in her hair.
- After Korg managed to call the goats, she managed to get the thunderbolt and she waved a last goodbye to one of the goddesses, just before she get back into the ship with Thor, Jane, and Korg.
- Although they failed to recruit the gods for their army and they went to the Shadow Realm to stop Gorr and save the children, she was worried about Thor, Jane, Korg, and herself.
- When Thor and Jane had a talk about their relationship, she and Korg were happy for them.
- After arriving to the Shadow Realm, she along with Thor and Jane went to find the children and stop Gorr, until it was turned out to be one of Gorr’s traps.
- She defended Thor from Gorr by telling him that “Thor was nothing like him,” although Gorr mocked her by telling to her that the gods didn’t save her sisters, after they have been killed by Hela years ago.
- After Thor freed her, Jane, and herself, she helped fight Gorr and his Shadow Monsters to catch him and get into the children, although later Gorr stab her with the thunderbolt. And although she couldn’t come with Thor to help him fight Gorr, she gave him the thunderbolt to help him destroy the Necrosword to leave him unpowerful and wished him good luck again by telling at him to not die.
- After Gorr’s death, Jane’s sacrifice, Thor become Love’s new father, and the children get back home at New Asgard, she along with Sif began combat and battle classes to help them defend themselves from any more dangers in the future.

- She assisted Carol's call for help and took all the surviving Skrulls back to New Asgard for safety after the destruction of Tarnax IV
What Prevents Her From Being Pure Good?[]
- She slightly fails the gigantic admirable standard of the MCU.
- Although she subverted most of her corrupting factors, she remained some of her jerkish attitude, especially when Thor accidentally destroyed one of her offices and she disliked Thor’s opinion of disguises, and also when she stole cloaks from the Gods of Emotions. And while she stopped forcing innocent people into the Grandmaster's clutches, she also hasn't shown any remorse for it.
Trivia[]
- Although she didn’t appear in Avengers: Infinity War, it is implied she helped some of the Asgardians, including Korg and Miek, escape using the escape pods during the assault with Thanos. If this was confirmed, it would make her better.
