Hello everyone. For this time, I am here with one of our favorite childhood favorite characters. Yep, you guessed it… Barbie! This time, I will be doing Princess Kara (usually pronounced Kera) who became a protagonist of Barbie in Princess Power. Before I start, I’ll tell you, I’ve watched this long time ago, so if you have something you want me to add here, then feel free to tell me.
Barbie in Princess Power
Barbie in Princess Power, a 2015 released film, became a Barbie film focusing on Princess Kara, who suddenly gained powers after a magical butterfly kissed her when she was with her cousin and friends. Afterwards, she became Super Sparkle, and started to save the city several times. Meanwhile, her cousin Corinne finds out what happened, gets jealous of her and copies her, and Baron, who eventually betrayed Kara and her family, tries to take over the kingdom. Despite Kara and Corinne constantly arguing over who can be a better hero over another, Kara and Corinne eventually mend up and stop Baron and his evil deeds.
Admirable Standards
This admirable standard largely changed Barbie. Barbie movies make admirable standards pretty much similar to a regular princess fantasy fighting movie, most notably saving a kingdom/city and defeating a villain for their crimes. However, this Barbie movie became no similar. I mean, this one involves saving a kingdom/city, but the attempted destruction for Kara’s kingdom became highly different. Most Barbie movies involving saving a place equals usually just stopping a tyranny. This one, differently, turned out to be more. Because this one involves saving a kingdom (I don’t exactly remember, unfortunately) by stopping lava.
What did she do?
Kara became most admirable over here. After gaining powers, she uses it several times to save the city despite her family initially not knowing. She even showed no resentment towards her fans crowding her either. Ultimately, she and Corinne even defeated Baron and stopped a lava and saved her kingdom (I don’t remember how much area she and Corinne saved at her kingdom, unfortunately).
Mitigating Qualities
She can be mad at and strict over petty reasons. After Corinne got her powers, Kara and Corinne constantly fought over who can be better towards people and Kara and Corinne do eventually make up, but only at final battle.
Ultimate Decision
I go for a yes, but I accept other opinions too.
