What's the Work
(Copied from my Tang&Pigsy Proposal:) LEGO Monkie Kid is an animated series from the LEGO franchise that bases itself in Chinese mythology, particularly the famous Journey to the West book. It follow Monkie Kid, a boy who finds himself being the successor to the legendary Monkey King, staff, powers, foes and all. However, their relationship and MK's oringins are way deeper than they first seem.
Who is him?
Sandy is a major protagonist in the series. An extremely strong and muscular man, who also happens to be a pacifist who hates fighting and hurting others. Owner of the cat Mo, professional meditator and owner of the gang's usual means of transportation. He is the reincarnation of one of Monkey King's pilgrim friends.
What does he do/makes him close to Pure Good?
Sandy is introduced in the first episode, where he promptly agrees to help Mei, MK, Tang and Pigsy to find Flower Fruit Mountain and bring Monkey King to fight the recently revived Demon Bull King. They use Sandy's boat to go there and, later, when MK is apparently dead, Sandy uses his boat and turns into a truck to help fight against DBK, holding him back until the empowered MK appears to defeat him.
Across Season 1, he helps the gang mainly by using his boat as means of transportation. His pacifistic ways are also part of MK's lessons at times, teaching him about patience and stuff. Particularly, he helps a lot in saving Pigsy and Tang from Spider Queen. In Season 2 he helps in the Ping Pong crisis caused by Pigsy, and has a great deal of importance in "To Catch a Leaf", where he goes to a forest to find a cure for MK's hiccups that were causing earthquakes, and also fought Spider Queen's henchman, Huntsman, while also making him have second thoughts about following the Lady Bone Demon.
In Season 3 he uses T.E.A., his aircraft, to move the gang around the world in their Journey to the West to find the Samadhi Fire rings, thus playing an important role in the quest. He also helped in the final battle, fighting Lady Bone Demon, unleashing some of his full power and helping in MK's speech against her, utimately supporting everyone in powering up the mech and defeating her.
In Season 4 he comes to help MK after he accidentslly had Monkey King trapped within the Scroll of Memory, entering it to look for Wukong, but becoming a version of his past life, a very violent blood warrior. When Pigsy snaps him out of it, he deeply apologizes, though his friend says he doesn't need to. He helps his friends train under Master Subodhi and become better versions of themselves. He creates yet another aircraft that leads everyone to the Celestial Realm to reunite with MK. When they get out of the Scroll, he is the only one to try to give Azure a chance to explain himself, though at that point he just reveals himself to be a villain. In the finale, he and Tang play an important role in saving Wukong by fixing the Scroll of Memory so MK and Macaque could save him, and later fighting Yellowtusk along with Tang and Pigsy, using his power to hold the elephant back while Tang convinced him. Sandy's determination eventuslly convinces Yellowtusk to return the ancestral weapons and help save the universe.
In Season 5, Sandy is essential to obtaining the Blue Colored Stone by teaching MK how to meditate, and helping him successfully pass the Black Tortoise's trials, while simultaneously helping him deal with his issues and fears; not removing his trauma, but helpin lessen its hold over MK. In the finale, he helps greatly in the fight against the Nine Headed Demon, using the Crescent Staff to counter its attacks and desperstely trying to beat it to prevent MK from completing his sacrifice. He mourned, alongside the others, MK's apparent sacrifice, and was overjoyed to see he was okay afterwards.

Admirable Standards
Sandy plays a role in redeeming Yellowtusk and getting one of the stones needed to save the Pillar of Heaven, always ready to get his friends on the means of transportation to whatever place they gotta go, and also plays a heroic influence that helps others change to the better; but he still fails the standards.
Sandy is a rare case of a heroic character who "holds back resources" too much, as he is one of the most powerful characters, but barely ever uses his true power in fights, always holding back a LOT. Characters like Pigsy and Tang have overrall much less resources and yet show more proactive actions in the big scale moments of the series, while Sandy, though helpful, is mostly relegated to a supporting role.
Other Corrupting Qualities
Other than that, no corrupting qualities at all; he is a sweetheart who dislikes hurting people, cares for his friends like the world and is calm, pacific, selfless and althruistic.
