What's the Work?[]
LEGO Monkey Kid is a Journey to the West themed animated series, that follows the adventures of MK, a sucessor of the legendary Monkey King, Sun Wukong, as he trains to master his powers and fight off villains and threats, particularly those that Wukong fought in the classic, original novel.
What's the Work?[]
Ao Lie, the White Horse Dragon, is a posthomous character. A member of the original pilgrims, the companions of Monkey King in his Journey to the West, Ao is son of the Dragon of the West, and anscestor of one of the main protagonists, Mei of the Dragon Clan. He is a laid back and calm individual, Ao Lie has a human form, and his main flaw that had to be overcome during his journey was his lack of action. He meets, or at least a version of himself meets, Mei, his anscestor, at the Scroll of Memory.
What Makes Him Close to Pure Good?[]
- He helped Wukong and his companions during their missions and travels.
- He defeated the dangerous Yellow Robed Demon, responsible for multiple soul feasting to keep extending his immortality and see his beloved again.
- Helped the Pilgrims defeat and seal Lady Bone Demon for the first time.
- When the ritual to seal away the Samahdi Fire, a power source that threatened the universe, nearly failed due to Wukong letting a bit of the fire get away from his ring, Ao Lie took upon himself the task to contain it, somehow sealing that portion of the Fire within himself, later passing it down generations until it reached Mei.
- He has no corrupting qualities
What Prevents Him From Pure Good?[]
- He fails the admirable standarts to his anscestor Mei, who has similar powerset and outdoes his feats, by controlling her own Samahdi Fire, stopping Lady Bone Demon from destroying the world and, alongside Red Son, sealing the Samahdi Fire again when he unleashed it a second time, and to Tang, who with some support powers he barely knows how to control (and no powers at all in Seasons 1 and 2) saved Megapolis from a giant meatball meteor, saved all of the protagonists from the Memory Scroll and played a very big part in saving the universe from Lady Bone Demon as well.
Veredict?[]
Easy yes, he is posthumous, so problaby won't show up again, and is an easy pick.
