What's the Work?[]
Hooky is a fantasy webcomic. The series follows the two young witch twins Daniela "Dani" and Dorian Wytte as they miss school, having to navigate a world hostile to their kind.
Who is He?[]
Nico is a major supporting protagonist in the story. He is Dorian and Dani's first friend who takes them to Master Pendragon's house, and accompanies them on the rest of their adventures
What has he done?[]
He stands out because he played a pivotal role in saving the Kingdom and ending Dani's amnesiac state with his scrying. It was his reading of the crystal that determined Prince William's location, as well as that Dani had become cursed. Despite his clairvoyance, he has less resources than Dani and Dorian, who can perform incredibly powerful magic, and has actions that are more unique compared to the other heroes.
What makes him close to Pure Good?[]
In addition to the previous:
- He runs to inform Dorian of the attempt to execute Dani, not being able to stand up to the crowd himself.
- He accompanies Dani and Dorian alongside Monica when the latters go to the Sabbath
- He expresses joy upon Dani and Dorian suggesting that neither of them is likely the prophesized "King of Witches"
- Despite acting like a jerk to Dorian, he apologizes to him after realizing that he was in the wrong, admitting on the second apology that he acted that way out of envy of Dorian's talents.
- Before facing the dragon, he apologizes to everyone to make sure they won't go out on bad terms
- He stays by Dani's side to keep her company.
- He sympathizes with Dorian after the latter shows grief over losing Dani
- He helps his friend fight the Evil Spirit possessing Dani.
- He along with his friends, attempts to jog Dani's memories by acting out the times they had together.
- After realizing that Dani is cursed, he informs Dorian before passing out from blood loss.
- He embarks with Dani to spread the message of peace to other kingdoms
What prevents Him from being Pure Good?[]
- Despite shedding his negative attitude toward his friends, Nico is still a con artist, as instead of giving actual readings with his oracle abilities, he chooses to give fake predictions to scam his customers.
