Hello. Today will be my next Near Pure Good proposal, and it is dedicated to Rebecca Chambers.
What's the work?[]
Resident Evil is a popular video game series. Initially, it positioned itself as a survival horror, but over time it became more like an action thriller with elements of survival horror.
Who is she?[]
Rebecca Chambers is one of the protagonists of the Resident Evil video games. She is a BSAA advisor and a former medic in the Bravo STARS squad.

What Makes Her Close to Being Pure Good?[]
Resident Evil Zero[]
- Thanks to her knowledge of chemistry and medicine, she got a place in the elite S.T.A.R.S. squad, the Raccoon City Police department, which investigated high—profile cases, including terrorism and drugs. In the squad, Rebecca provided support and served as a field medic.
- She and her squad went on their first investigation into the murders allegedly committed by cannibals in the Arklay woods.
- After breaking away from the dead, she meets Billy, who suggested that she team up, to which Rebecca agreed, after the death of her partner Edward Dewey and the meeting with the "Cerberus".
- When she met Edward, who had already turned into a zombie and was about to attack her, Rebecca reluctantly shot her friend.
- She tried with all her might to stop the train in which she and Billy were and which uncontrollably raced along the rails to the abandoned research and training center of the corporation.
- Once in the huge building that served as a training base and research center, Rebecca and Billy began to explore the mansion and its laboratories, delving deeper into the dark history of this gloomy place.
- Over time, she began to doubt that Billy really was a murderer and decided to find out his version of the reasons why he was accused of mass murder of people.
- She took the elevator down, where she found Billy unconscious, who had miraculously not been swept away by the current. Using the dam control, Rebecca finally got to him.
- She and Billy killed Dr. James Marcus, thereby preventing him from spreading the T-Virus, which turned people into zombies.
- She took the soldier's badges as proof that Lieutenant Cohen was "dead".
Resident Evil[]
- Together with Richard Aiken, she went to look for Enrico, hoping that he was safe after the group split up.
- In an attempt to save the dying Richard, she asks Chris to get medicine in one of the rooms of the mansion, but then it was too late.
- She helped the other heroes defeat the Tyrant.
- When she returned to the city, she wrote a report describing the "death" of Lieutenant Cohen.
Resident Evil: Vendetta[]
- After the destruction of the city, she began serving as a BSAA operative, but later switched to scientific work on the development of protection against biological weapons generated on the basis of the T-virus.
- She helped Chris Redfield and Jill Valentine in their joint investigation in San Francisco, where mysterious cases of infection and murder of people became more frequent.
- In a conversation with Chris, who was about to suspend Jill for her reckless behavior at a recent assignment, Rebecca defended Jill and said that her behavior was a consequence of the fact that she had never recovered from the events in Africa, and was trying to atone for being an unwitting Wesker puppet.
- She began work on a vaccine against a new strain of the virus.
- She was afraid that her comrades might get into trouble, and therefore went to their aid with a group of fighters from S.W.A.T..
- She arrived in time to cure the weakened Kennedys and Redfields of their ailments, after which they all reunited with Valentine and faced Dylan, who injected himself with the virus and merged with Megalodon.
- Before Claire could destroy the drones, Rebecca advised her to redirect them to Dylan in order to destabilize his DNA. This action significantly weakened the mutated creature, giving Valentine, Kennedy, and Redfield the opportunity to attack it. Thanks to their combined efforts, the mutated Dylan died.
What Prevents Her From Being Pure Good?[]
- She slightly fails the admirable standards of Chris Redfield and Jill Valentine, who saved the world more than she did.
- Sometimes she can be lethal (although I could be wrong about that, because her murders are righteous).
