Hello. Today will be my first offer for the status of NPG, and it is dedicated to Asterix and Obelix.
What's the Work?[]
Asterix or The Adventures of Asterix is a series of European comic books by Rene Gossini and Albert Uderzo, the main character of which is Gal Asterix. It also spawned a series of cartoons and films of the same name. But I'm not familiar with comics, so I'll only refer to information from cartoons.
Who are they?[]
- Astérix is the main character of a number of European comics, ten cartoons and five comedy feature films included in the Asterix and Obelix series. In these works, Asterix and his best friend Obelix, using a magic potion brewed by the druid Panoramix, are fighting the Romans, led by Caesar, who invaded Gaul, and the heroes have to travel to different countries and regions, both European (Britain, Greece, Spain, Italy, Switzerland, Belgium, Caledonia), and and more exotic (Egypt, America, the Middle East, India, Atlantis, Barbaricon).
- Obelix is the second main character of a number of European comics, ten cartoons and five comedy feature films included in the Asterix and Obelix series. He is Asterix's best friend, who, unlike the latter's cunning and ingenuity, prefers physical strength to solve various tasks, and differs from him both externally and in character.
Asterix[]

- He values his friends very much, and is always ready to protect them from any danger.

- He and Obelix saved Caligula Minus, not knowing that he was a spy.
- While being held captive by the Romans, he and Panoramix tricked them, and did not give them a magic potion to prevent them from taking over their village.
- He tells Julius Caesar the plan of centurion Fonus Bolvanus to overthrow the emperor and seize power himself, for which Caesar releases Asterix and Panoramix and they return to their village, and Fonus Bolvanus is removed from the post of centurion.

- He and Obelix defeated the treacherous architect Amonbofis when he tried to prevent the construction of the palace.
- As a result, he, Obelix and Panoramix helped to complete the palace in the right time, thereby proving to Caesar the greatness of the Egyptians, and bringing Cleopatra closer to Caesar.
The Twelve Tasks of Asterix[]
- He and Obelix went to perform 12 tasks from Caesar, after which they were supposed to be recognized as Gods, and if they did not complete at least one, their entire village would become slaves of Rome. Moreover, Asterix completed most of the tasks.
- Although he turned the Egyptian hypnotist into a boar, it was an accident, because the hypnotist himself wanted to turn him, but Asterix did not succumb to hypnosis, and instead of "I am a boar" he said "You are a boar".
- Although he drove all the members of the institution crazy, he really just had no choice, because all the employees of this institution were driving everyone crazy themselves, and Asterix urgently needed to complete this task.

What Prevents Him From Being Pure Good?[]
