Ultraseven is the titular main protagonist of the series of the same name as well as the direct to video Heisei specials as well. Like his canon M78 counterpart. He is alien from M78 who while investigating Earth, saved a mountain climber named Jiro from falling to death after he saved his partner. Following this, he later took the form of Dan Moroboshi and eventually became a member of the Ultra Garrison. Unlike his canon counterpart though, he was the only Ultra to visit Earth.

What Makes Him Close to Being Pure Good?[]
In general[]
- While he did lure and knock out Kazamuri and shrink/place him inside one of his capsules before eventually disgusting himself as him in the second episode of the 30th anniversary trilogy, he only did it so that he and Satomi wouldn’t bring to him authorities (context: the Guts alien had framed him as a possible suspect for a murder). Additionally, he also wanted to stop the Guts alien from hurting them and later using Sulfas to mutate humanity and conquer Earth.
Background[]
- Upon visiting Earth, he saved a mountain climber named Jiro Satsuma from falling to his death while trying to save his fellow climber. Afterwards, he disguised himself to look like Jiro out of respect for his bravery.
Ultra Seven[]
As Dan Moroboshi[]
- Upon meeting Furuhashi and Soga, he saved them from getting abducted by Alien Cool and later helped them and the rest of the Ultra Garrison members find a loophole in the Cool aliens' invisibility trick.
- Following Alien Cool’s defeat, he joined the Ultra guard to help them defend earth from alien invaders.
- In episode 2, he saved Ishiguro’s wife and an old man from getting killed by Alien Wyann.
- In episode 6, he allowed an injured Alien Peggasa to stay at Anne’s house and upon finding out that his people’s city was about to collide with Earth and that UG was gonna blow it up, he attempted to warn them to evacuate so that they could relocate on Earth.
- In episode 15, upon finding out that the Pedan aliens were seemingly attacking Earth because they mistook a Ug satellite that was near their planet as a threat, he attempted to make a truce between them.
- In episode 18, he saved Soga from getting killed by Alien Bell’s monster Gumonga while they were stuck on his island.
- In episode 26, he was the first one against testing a bomb on the planet gyrone and following the defeat of Starbem Gyrone. In fact, by the end of the episode, he inspired the UG to discontinue more testing of it, thus preventing more species from turning into giant destructive monsters like Gyrone.
- In episode 37, prior to him stopping the Megallen aliens’ missile which was headed towards Earth, he offered one of their agents “Maya” a chance to live on Earth after finding out that her people were going to leave her to die, even if this ultimately failed in the end due to her choosing to kill herself instead.
- In episode 38, he showed up for Osamu's heart surgery as he had promised following Crazygon’s defeat.
Despite what the Nonmalts did, he felt remorseful for them when the Ultra guard blew up their civilization as he been told by the spirit of a child that the humans had forced them to take refuge in the sea in the first place.
- In episode 48, despite the fact that his energy was depleting, he chose to transform and save UG from getting killed by the Ghos’s monster Pandon.Later on, while he was being nursed in the UG, he took the blame for Captain Kurata not coming in time to help them fight against the Ghos, despite the fact that it was because his energy was weak.
- In episode 49, while on the verge of death due to his energy depleting, he chose to transform again in order to save Amagi and stop the Ghos aliens from nuking more cities and wiping out humanity.
As Ultraseven[]
- In episode 1, after defeating Alien Cool, he rescued everyone that he kidnapped.
- In episode 2, he defeated the alien Wyann, preventing him from turning everyone on earth into Wyanns while also reverting the ones who were infected back to normal in the process.
- In episode 3, he defeated the Alien Pitt sisters and their pet monster Eleking.
- In episode 4, he managed to defeat the remaining Gadolas and later return Tanaka, Furuhashi, Amagi, and Soga back to Earth after they were stuck on a ship’s that the Gadolas had placed in space.
- In episode 5, he defeated the Vira aliens and broke Dr. Yushima out of their control.
- In episode 6, he managed to scare off the last remaining Alien Peggasa with his eye slugger and later brought the bomb he was using to try and blow up Earth into space.
- In episode 7, he helped save Anne from getting by a homicidal criminal from an alien race known as the Quaraso.
- In episode 8, he defeated Alien Metron, preventing him from using more cigarettes in order to turn humanity into violent maniacs.
- In episode 9, he defeated Alien Chibu and his robot Android Zero one, preventing them (mainly the former) from mind controlling children all over the world and giving them real weapons in order to overpower every adult on Earth.

- In episode 11, after the UG killed Alien Wild, he defeated his monster Narse.
- In episode 12, he defeated the Spell aliens, preventing them from drinking the blood of children.
- In episode 13, he defeated Alien Iyros’ robotic duplicates of Furuhashi and Amagi before later rescuing the real ones and eventually defeating Iyros himself.
- In episode 15, he helped the Ultra garrison defeat King Joe and the pedan aliens and stop them from conquering Earth, all while force them into retreating.
- In episode 16, he successfully convinced Annon him into leaving in peace by clarifying to him that humanity didn’t mean no harm towards his people.
- In episode 17, he and the UG defeated the U-Tom robots and also saved Jiro again, this time from suffocating from within a cave.

- In episode 19, he defeated the Bado aliens and prevented them from blowing up Earth while also saving Grace’s husband Dr. Miyabe in the process.

- In episode 24, he snapped Windam out of Kanan aliens control and later defeated them while also preventing Furuhashi from crashing the Uktra hawk into an airplane.

- In episode 1, he defeated Alien Variel and prevented him from brainwashing humanity Additionally, he also managed to bring back all the memories that Variel had stolen from a bunch of humans.

- In episode 1, he encouraged Shiragane to be prideful of being chosen by furuhashi and later managed to force Alien Valkyrie int9 leaving Kazamori’s body.
- In episode 5, he advised Kaiji to alert the rest of UG that King Joe was going to start rampaging.
Before leaving earth, he reasured Furuhashi that Seven still had his place on Earth.
As Kazamori[]
- In episode 2, he saved Alien Kyulo/Henmi from three Garo alien possessed humans.
- In episode 4,upon noticing that an elderly man was upset that no one wanted to buy his fish, he immediately went ahead to meet him in order buy one of them.
- Upon noticing a woman who was unconscious near the bench, he briefly tried to rescue her and bring her to a hospital.
- In episode 6, he managed to convict UG and the higher ups to reveal to the universe that the Nonmalts.
As Seven[]
- In episode 1, he defeated Alien Valkyrie and placed Kazamori in his Ultra capsule so that he could heal from his injuries after he was forced to shoot him and get Alien Valkyrie out of his body. Additionally, he also went on to temporarily disguise himself as Kazamori onwards so that his crewmates wouldn’t worry about him.
- In episode 2, he defeated the Garo aliens and the robot Daitekkai, preventing them from conquering Earth.
- In episode 3, he defeated the Lemojo alien’s monster Valigo, preventing it from wiping out humanity.
- In episode 5, he defeated King Joe II.
- Despite figuring out that humanity had essentially taken over earth, thousands of years ago. He still chooses to save them, even going so far as to offering the last remaining Female Nonmalt a chance to coexist with them and give up It should be noted that even though it was against M78’s law to interfere, he still chose to protect humanity anyways due to his love for them.
- In episode 6, he defeated Zambagi, preventing it from wiping out humanity like the female Nonmalt wanted. Following this, he later returned the real Kazamori back after his wound healed.
- Following Zambagi’s defeat, he went to return to M78 to accept his punishment.
35th anniversary EVOLUTION[]
- In episode 3, he (with the help of Saoimi’s spirit and the Dragonic saucer),hebonded with Kazamori to help him fight against Neo Pandon.
- In episode 5, he defeated Neo Pandon.
- In episode 6, he defeated Alien Garut and his monster Gaimos, preventing them from conquering Earth.
What Prevents Him From Being Pure Good?[]
- While knocking out Kazamori was necessary in order to help the UG stop the Guts aliens and avoid avoid being brought to the authorizes after the Guts framed him/made him a suspect for murder, he does do it in a jerkish way where he addresses him as “Kazamori - Kun” despite knowing how much he disliked being referred to as such, riling him up in the process.
