Private Tubby, known as Gordi in the Spanish version, is the deuteragonist of Alberto Vazquez's 2nd full-length animated feature film Unicorn Wars.
He is the older twin brother of Bluey. Unlike his brother, however, Tubby is much more genial and connected with nature.
He was voiced by Jaione Insausti.

What Makes Him Close to Being Pure Good?[]
- While others teddy bears have gone to war against unicorns out of xenophobic beliefs, Tubby holds no grudge in his heart and joined the army mainly to keep company to his brother.
- He is very innocent, not having any suspicions that his brother orchestrated their mother's death and he tried to help her when she was dying.
- When Snuggles gets bit by a wild animal, he tries to help by applying pression to the wounded foot to let the venom out and bandages the foot afterwards (though it proves to be in vain, the intention was good).
- Offered some blueberries to a wild animal during the expedition to the Magic Florest.
- Once his team gets massacred by the unicorns and Private Coco gets mortally wounded by Bluey, he tries to help, once again to no avail. This would lead him to go away from Bluey for a while, but even then, he offers some food to Bluey when the latter is stalking the former.
- Heals a wounded unicorn with fruits from the forest after said unicorn fought with Bluey, and bandages her.
- Tries to reach Bluey after the latter was washed away by the waterfalls.
- What really sets apart Tubby from a standard teddy bear is that during the last battle of bears against unicorns, when Bluey tries to shoot a giant cannon to deliver the final strike, Tubby thwarts him by throwing a torch at the barrels near the cannon, blowing them all up. Even if the unicorns did not win, at least it was a draw thanks to Tubby. Plus, given that this is dark-fantasy war film where nearly everyone other character is evil, the admirable standards are low enough for Tubby to pass.
What Prevents Him From Being Pure Good?[]
- He has some instances of reckless behavior:
- He consumed myriapods together with his battalion even though the Father advised against it; the Cuddly-Wuddly twins died because of consumption of myriapods.
- He let his guard down during the final battle, not realizing his brother had become irredeemable. This led to horrible consequences, namely his and Maria's deaths.
- Had Tubby shed this trait before the events of the movie and had more medical knowledge, he probably would have been more successful at saving lives.
Trivia[]
- Tubby is the only character in Unicorn wars to be Near Pure Good. Ironically, his brother, Bluey, is Near Pure Evil.
