Thor or known as Thonar is an overreaching protagonist in the The Seven Deadly Sins: Grand Cross mobile game's original storyline Rangarok: Fate of the Gods.
Her Good Ranking[]
In General[]
- While she did have instances of getting mad at times they are usually in her calling out villains' acts like Vali meaning they're justified or are Heating-Up Periods.
- While the Seven Deadly Sins, and Zeldris did do more than her they had far longer screentime in the main series to do acts in than her meaning they would be unfair comparisons
- While she is an mercenary as Thonar this doesn't hurt her Near Pure Good status since it is just done as an undercover title while posing as an human to help humanity without rousing suspicion from the other Gods who look down upon them so it doesn't not make her an actual mercenary and is justified anyways.
- While while she did bow to Odin (who version in the story is depicted as an Villain) it isn't an corrupting factor since she only likely did it out of respect for her father/ruler of the Gods and likely couldn't oppose him anyways.
- Despite the high admirable standards of The Seven Deadly Sins she stands out due to her being an game original character, low screentime and for saving thousands of people from being killed.
What Makes Her Close to Being Pure Good?[]
- She protected humans from harm when most of the other gods turned their backs on them and while she did scold and fight Heimdallr it was justified for Heimdallr's xenophobia towards humans when she attempted to made Thor stop protecting humans and she only fought her out of defense anyways. She would pose as the mercenary under the alias of an human names Thonar.
- She would assist the Seven Deadly Sins in their adventurers in midgard with an major supporting role in helping them:
- She help assist them in some enemies at times such as Sigurd who was trying to kill them believing them to be evil demons.
- She created an thunder storm to save the Seven Deadly Sins from being attacked that warded off their attackers long enough to escape on Hawk Mama.
- While she wasn't shown doing it onscreen, she was there onscreen during the event as Thonar and was later chapters had her retconned as Thor meaning it has enough onscreen evidence she can so it as Thonar to some extent and save it from relying on fridge-brilliance.
- During an tournament set up by the Gods as Thonar she felt sympathy for Skadi's father's death and showed condolences for it.
- She ends up breaking her cover to stop Vali's magical attack on the Seven Deadly Sins which was so powerful even Merlin's Perfect Cube couldn't contain it and would've gotten arena filled of thousands killed in doing so by using Mjolnir to block the attack. Though before she can bring Vali down to justice Odin's arrival prevented her from doing so.
What Prevents Her From Being Pure Good?[]
- While she has no corruptions, due to her having to maintain her cover as Thonar, it means she had to hold back her resources, making her fail the admirable standards to Fenrir, Jormungand, Hel who did more with similar or less resources but however it isn't too severe as she willingly broke her cover to stopping Vali's attack meaning she will break it to save others if no other options are left and that act is enough for her to stand out to prevent her from being an Heroic Benchmark.
Trivia[]
- She, Fenrir and Jormungand is the only The Seven Deadly Sins Near Pure Goods to be from an video game. She is also the only Near Pure Good version of Thor to be female and not be a version from Marvel Comics.
- While she is Near Pure Good currently depending on future releases of the Rangarok: Fate of the Gods her status may challenged as if she do enough admirable acts, it could nullify her prevention of holding back her resources to do more to make her Pure Good assuming she isn't shown to gain corruptions.
