Thomas, originally named Stephen, is the titular main protagonist of the Maze Runner film series.

What Makes Him Close To Being Pure Good?[]

  • He helps the trial group of the Gladers overcome the risks among them.
  • Becomes heartbroken and devastated over the death of his friend, Chuck, at the hands of Gally.
  • When he realizes that antibodies can be produced from his blood, he allows the experiment to save the world.
  • Alongside his friends, he lets Winston kill himself so he doesn't become a Crank.
  • Trying to bring Teresa back from being a villain.
  • He cooperates with Gally despite being enraged at him for killing Chuck.
  • Finally, he cooperates with Teresa in defeating Janson, who is Pure Evil.
  • While trying to save Teresa, he becomes heartbroken and devastated when she falls to her death.

What Prevents Him From Being Pure Good?[]

  • He has a slightly lethal side as he is responsible for Janson's death on top of punching Gally in the face, although admittedly, the reasons for this make a lot of sense.
