The Warden is one of the five tritagonists (alongside the Titan Ravager, Endie, Skellington and Spider) of Season 3 of the AvM Shorts. He was also referenced in the Actual Shorts miniseries.
He is a centuries-old blind hostile mob living in the Deep Dark biome, guarding a village that is long lost. Upon being reminded of his past by the Second Coming, he redeems himself and helps him fight King Orange.

What Makes Him Close to Being Pure Good?[]
- Centuries ago, he protected his village from any threats to it.
- While he did briefly turn into a villain, that's only because he lost his memory throughout the centuries he spend alone, and he immediately redeems himself once he gets them back.
- Upon his redemption, he forgave the Second Coming and apologized for trying to kill him, and helped him fight King Orange, who was trying to destroy all of Minecraft. While the Warden wasn't aware of it at first, he must have realised by the time of "The Raid", as he must have heard King Orange create his black hole. That's without counting the fact that, after his resurrection, he was directly at the place where Minecraft was being remade.
- He quickly befriended all the mobs and sticks that arrived to help him, such as high-fiving Endie once he freed him from his imprisonment.
- In his final moments, he threw away the Second Coming before he could be attacked by King Orange, possibly saving his life in the process and indirectly causing Minecraft to be saved.
- He accepted King Orange's redemption following his revival.
- While he did join the Monster School at the end, the Warden had no idea he was gonna be trained to murder innocent players and we don't know if he's going there willingly, as Herobrine can force his students into attending if they try to escape.
- Additionally, he would do nothing but inconvenience the players unless they're playing on Hardcore, further downplaying this.
- Given how he's cheered on by the other students, it can be assumed he's a good friend to them who is admired because of this.
What Prevents Him From Being Pure Good?[]
- He fails the Admirable Standard to Purple, who sacrificed his life and redeemed King Orange with lesser resources.
