~ The Child telling Mike to move on from his guilt |
The Crying Child is a major character in Iron Master's Five Nights at Freddy's music series. He is the brother of Michael and Elizabeth and the son of the serial killer William Afton.
His Good Ranking[]
What Makes Him Close to Being Pure Good?[]
- Despite Michael's direct involvement in his death, he doesn't appear to resent him and takes pity on him, even sometimes talking to him during his nightmares and telling him he knows he didn't mean for his death to happen.
- He is posthumously able to make peace with Michael, allowing his brother to move on and forgive himself, ridding him of his nightmares.
- His actions led Michael to do most of his heroic actions such as going to save Elizabeth, trying to stop their father, and his final plan with Henry to burn all the animatronics down.
- After becoming a part of Golden Freddy, he and The Puppet saved some of William's victims and freed their souls.
- Lacks any corrupting qualities being an innocent victim who tries to help other after his own death.
What Prevents Him From Being Pure Good?[]
- He relies too much on Fridge Brilliance as his role in Michael's redemption is indirect at most and the part he played in Happiest Day is left unclear as it's unknown how much he helped, and how he even helped in the first place. This makes him fail the admirable standards to his brother and Henry Emily.
Trivia[]
- He is the only version of the Crying Child (and to an extent Golden Freddy) to be Near Pure Good.
