The Author is one of the two overarching protagonists (alongside Lelouch Lamperogue) of the All Worlds Alliance series. He is the self-insert OC of the series' author someonestupED.

He is the God of ZeroTopia, as well as the main founder of the hero organisation All Worlds Alliance, assigning Lelouch as the headmaster of the newly-created AWA Academy. Despite being the de jure founder of AWA and is still a higher-up alongside Lelouch, it is revealed later that he and Lelouch are both de facto leaders, since both of them are grooming Chizuru Tachibana, Madoka Kaname, Yuuki Asaba, Kenji Kazama and Cesaro Oohori into becoming the new leaders of AWA in the future.

While he seldom makes a physical appearance in the story (except in AWA Missions: Tales of the New World and in AWA Missions: Negima where he makes brief appearances in few chapters), his creation of the All Worlds Alliance made him a major influence in the series.

What Makes Him Close to Being Pure Good?

• After Harmony's past conflict with Discord caused the rest of first-generation Zero Goddesses sans Sadness to sacrifice themselves, The Author would become the God of ZeroTopia.
• He is responsible for the creation of All Worlds Alliance, as he recruited Lelouch Lamperogue into a mass-hiring of heroes from various universes (including Lelouch's own). He played a major role in ensuring that the invaders that attacked his own world (who turned out to be the Apostles of the New World) would be stopped from endangering his own creation.
  • Due to being the creator of AWA, he is also responsible for the present-time heroics of AWA's heroes including Chizuru Tachibana and Kenji Kazama, in particular, as well as many other heroes who would later visit other worlds and protect it from various outside threats like the Apostles of the New World and even various local threats.
• With Neptune's help, he and Neptun would save Rin (the main protagonist of Shelter), who was virtually stranded in space while being in her virtual world for over ten years with no one but herself, before he and Neptune visited her own virtual world and finally adopted her as their adopted daughter and give her a new life for the ten-year isolation she endured and with him and Neptune wanting to give her the lost love she had after her father passed away.
• In Chapter 64 and 65 of Stories, The Author is majorly responsible for turning the entire All Worlds Alliance Academy into a giant domed ship, which ultimately turns the AWA into a spacefaring hero organisation, thus giving them more room to do their heroics outside of the confines of ZeroTopia, a change that would become permanent from that point onward.
  • He also relieved himself from his duties as ZeroTopia's God and passes the torch to the Zero Goddesses to take care of ZeroTopia while he's away.
• Despite having some minor jerk moments towards Neptune, none of them are considered corrupting as these are played for laughs.

What Prevents Him From Being Pure Good?

• He slightly fails to Chizuru Tachibana despite having limited screentime (even lampshaded the fact that he makes sporadic appearances), who is on par with him as he and Chizuru have god-level powers (with the latter becoming the Zero God of Harmony), as Chizuru himself has saved several worlds throughout the story, stopping Maricar Funabori from going berserk after Chikage Tachibana/Chandler Cheesecake manipulated her (during All Worlds Alliance Missions: Friendship Games), and also stopped Harmony from potentially destroying ZeroTopia the second time (during Chapter 27 of Assorted Stories).
  • This is a minor prevention as The Author is responsible for founding the All Worlds Alliance, which wouldn't even exist without his input (as seen in the prologue), as well as hiring Lelouch Lamperogue to recruit multiple heroes from across the universe, thus he does not fail the admirable standards too much, since his creation of the AWA is significant to the AWA's heroics in the present-time.

Trivia

• He is the only All Worlds Alliance hero to be Near Pure Good.
