Tahu is the main protagonist in the BIONICLE franchise. He is the Toa of Fire and the leader of the Toa Mata.

What Makes Him Close to Being Pure Good?[]
- Led the Toa Mata to defend the Turaga and Matoran from Makuta Teridax's threats.
- Removed the infected Kanohi masks from the enslaved Rahi, thus freeing them from Teridax's control.
- Stopped the Bohrok's rampage by defeating the Bahrag.
- Saved Jaller and Takua from Teridax's Rahkshi and defeated them with the help of his teammates.
- Allowed the Toa Inika to take over his and his friends' place of retrieving the Kanohi Ignika to save Mata Nui.
- Helped the Av-Matoran to defeat the Brotherhood of Makuta and reawaken Mata Nui from his slumber (though the mission was actually part of Teridax's plan).
- Led the resistance against Teridax's tyrannical rule.
- Later led the army of Toa to help the Glatorian and Mata Nui to defeat Teridax by destroying the Rahkshi of Heat Vision with the Golden Armor.
- Stopped Velika from destroying both the Toa and Glatorian and taking over Spherus Magna by sacrificing the Golden Armor's powers to defeat the Kanohi Dragon.
What Prevents Him From Being Pure Good?[]
- He was very hot-headed, stubborn and reckless at first as he went into action without thinking first or listening to his teammates' opinions, thus sometimes putting him and his friends' lives in danger.
- In one occasion, he nearly killed Gorast after he learnt that she killed Krika, who was trying to warn the other Makuta about Teridax's true goal, though he managed to prevent himself from doing so.
