Sypha Belnades is the deuteragonist and main heroine of Netflix's dark fantasy animated series, Castlevania. She is loosely based on the video game character of the same name.
She is an optimistic Speaker magician, who seeks knowledge and going on adventures. By the time she meets Trevor and Alucard, she goes on a quest to kill Dracula and end his war on humanity. Later on, Trevor and her go on several adventures helping many people from the threat of vampires and monsters, while starting a romantic relationship with each other.
She is voiced by Alejandra Reynoso in the English dub and Ayaka Shimoyamada in the Japanese dub.

What Makes Her Close to Being Pure Good?[]
- Since she is a Speaker, she uses the knowledge they have to help others that are in need.
- Sypha journeyed to find the "sleeping warrior" underneath Gresit, where she was caught by a cyclops.
- Though Trevor told her people to hide she refuse and decide to help him as a way to thank him for saving her and to show people that despite being a mage she serves no evil.
- She help rebuilt Gresit with Trevor.
- Sypha decided to stay with Trevor so they can end Dracula's war on humanity, which shows how brave and courageous she is.
- Unlike Alucard, Sypha does respect Trevor despite feeling that he is rude and did close up to him in order to know him better as a person.
- Sypha used all her power to force Dracula's castle to move near the Belmont hold.
- She help kill what remain of Dracula's army and assisted in fighting him.
- Sypha decided to remain with Trevor feeling that they would go through wonderful adventures together.
- From Season 1-3, she remains to be optimistic and excited for anything in their adventures.
- She entered a romance with Trevor, which shows how close they became after season 1 and 2.
- Sypha help uncover on what's going on with the Priory and help prevent them from resurrecting Dracula.
- In Season 4, she stop many lives from being killed by monsters and ritualistic attempts to bring back Dracula.

- Sypha and Trevor defends the people of Targoviste from a vampire attack.
- After reuniting with Alucard, Sypha and Trevor help him defeat the many enemies in their way and try to prevent Death's plan on bringing Dracula and Lisa into a rebis.
- Despite being upset, she welcomed Trevor back and is glad to see her lover again.
What Prevents Her From Being Pure Good?[]
- She has lethal moments when dispatching enemies.
- There are moments when she becomes incredibly angry, such as when she blames Trevor for how she became while fighting night creatures.
