What Prevents Him From Being Pure Good?[]
- He is lethal in combat. However, most of the enemies he fights are mindless demons and cyborgs, and he gives them quick deaths with his freezing abilities.
- Fails the admirable standard to Raiden and Cassie Cage, the latter of whom has less resources than him.
- He can be pretty harsh and very vengeful as he threatens anyone with death or immense pain whenever he feels someone has offended his ideals or his clan.
Trivia[]
- He is the first male Near Pure Good in the franchise followed by Johnny and Liu Kang.
- Ironically, his brother, Bi-Han, is Near Pure Evil, in contrast to him being Near Pure Good.
- His NPG status still holds up due to the canonization of all the timelines in Mortal Kombat. Meaning that this Sub-Zero still exists, but as a Keeper of Time in his MK11 ending. The status of his New Era counterpart (where he is Scorpion instead of Hanzo Hasashi) has yet to be determined.
