Stella is the deuteragonist of Princess Peach: Showtime! She is the fairy guardian who watches over the Sparkle Theater to ensure that the plays are going smoothly, but it wasn't until Madame Grape and the Sour Bunch arrived and messed everything up in the theater. She teams up with Princess Peach to help take back the Sparkle Theater from Grape and her minions.

What Makes Her Close to Being Pure Good?

• Stella teams up with Princess Peach, who also witnessed Grape take over the Sparkle Theater so they can help save the Theets and the theater and she is shown to be very polite with her as well as the Theets and Sparklas.
• She gives Peach the Sparkle Ribbon that holds her hair back, and its power allows her to fight the Sour Bunch before she takes on any transformations depending on the play's theme.
• When Peach receives a transformation, Stella actively helps with the transformation into a costume that allows Peach to access the abilities that each costume has that she can use to gain the advantage. In doing this, they save the plays from falling into a full-blown tragedy.
  • She even assures the victimized Theets that they will help turn things around in their favor after the Sour Bunch caused various problems depending on the story.
• When Peach and Stella are tasked to free the Swordfighter Sparkla and Peach tries to leave the basement where the Sparklas are imprisoned, Stella will be assertive and will refuse to let Peach leave until she frees the Swordfighter Sparkla behind one of the doors and helped free all of the Sparklas from a fate worse than death.
• She helps Peach with opening up boss doors after all four rooms on that floor are completed with the power of the Sparkle Gems that they have collected so far and tried to open the door to Madame Grape later on and would have failed had the freed Sparklas not lent them their power to open the door to Grape completely. That being said, even though Grape was defeated at their hands, Grape has attempted a genocide against the Theets as shown at various points with the Sour Bunch attacking them, and they attacked Peach and Stella for getting involved, so her defeat was pretty well-deserved and played for satisfaction.
• She partakes in the final battle against Grape and after the Sparkle Theater is destroyed after the first phase, she helps to defeat Grape and later restores the Sparkle Theater. Even the Toads are grateful enough to hand Stella Princess Peach's crown so she can place it on Peach's head.

What Prevents Her From Being Pure Good?

• While she can't be compared to Princess Peach due to the fact that Stella has less resources than her, Stella fails the in-story standards a bit to a lot of the comparable Super Mario supporting characters who have already outdone her, including Starlow, who is also a sprite-like companion who has outdone her, and she pretty much acts as Peach's assistant for the most part and did the same heroics as her in this game alone. Though she was still a big help either way and Peach likely wouldn't have been able to stop the Sour Bunch or Grape herself if not for Stella, so this is an extremely minor prevention.
