Spyro is the titular main protagonist of the video game series of the same name. He is a small, purple dragon who is tasked by his older counterparts to save each of the realms in every game.
In the first game, he was voiced by Carlos Alazraqui in the first game. In three of its sequels, the Reignited Trilogy series and his current voice actor, he is voiced by Tom Kenny, who also voiced SpongeBuck SquarePants in SpongeBob SquarePants and Kevin Van Newton in Final Space. In Spyro: A Hero's Tail, he is voiced by Jess Harnell.

What Makes Him Close to Being Pure Good?[]
Spyro the Dragon[]
- He freed all the dragons after they were turned into crystal statues by Gnasty Gnorc, he later defeated him and freed the realms from his tyranny.
Spyro 2: Ripto's Rage[]
- He saved Zoe from being fed to Gulp by Ripto.
- He freed Avalar from being taking over by Ripto.
Spyro 3: Year of the Dragon[]
- He freed each of the allied companions that the Sorceress had captured in-game, though he had to do so by paying Moneybags a ransom in each case.
- He rescued all the dragon eggs that were stolen by Bianca under the Sorceress's orders, whilst also preventing her from killing them in the foreseeable future.
Spyro: Enter the Dragonfly[]
- He rescued all the dragonflies that Ripto had kidnapped whilst preventing him from taking over his home realm.
Spyro: A Hero's Tail[]
- He destroyed all of the Dark Gems that Red and his minions had placed across the Dragon Realms, preventing them from draining the magic essence from each world.
- He defeated Gnasty Gnorc, Ineptune, and Red (initially) and freed the three elemental fairies they had captured and imprisoned.
- He freed the Professor from being forced to create Red's robotic gnomic army, and together, the two of them defeated stopped his plot for good.
Spyro: Shadow Legacy[]
- He freed each of the main realms and their inhabitants from being engulfed by the Shadow Realm, which would have drain them of their magic powers by destroying the Shadow Amplifier.
- He reformed Red after defeating him once more, and convinced him to reconcile with the other dragon elders.
- He defeated the Sorcerer and prevented him from activating a second, more powerful Shadow Amplifier from trapping the realms in the Shadow Realm permanently.
What Prevents Him From Being Pure Good?[]
- He comes out as both brash and arrogant in personality, causing him to have numerous jerk moments across the entire series.
Trivia[]
- Only from the classic continuity quality for Near Pure Good as neither his The Legend of Spyro and Skylander Academy counterparts count as the former lacks the arrogance and overconfidence the original have with would make a possible candidate for Pure Good and the latter for having way too many corrupting factors.
