“ | God, this is so cool. I always wanted brothers. | „ |
~ Peter Parker to his Raimiverse counterpart |
“ | Every day, I wake up knowing that the more people I try to save, the more enemies I will make. And it's just a matter of time before I face those with more power than I can overcome. | „ |

He was portrayed by Andrew Garfield as a young adult and by Max Charles as a child.
His Good Ranking
What Makes Him Close to Being Pure Good?
The Amazing Spider-Man
- Before he had powers, he defended a kid named Gordon and told Flash to put him down.
- While it is true, he deliberately took his time toying with and intimidating a random car thief that he suspected may have been the same guy who killed his Uncle Ben with very little to go on, he made it clear during No Way Home that he felt remorse for it.
- It is implied that had he found Ben's killer prior to becoming an actual hero, he wouldn't have tried to killed him. He also felt remorse for almost killing Ben's killer.
- He defeated The Lizard and cured him, turning him back into Dr. Connors.
- He saved everyone in New York from being transformed into lizards by the Lizard.
The Amazing Spider-Man 2
- As Spider-Man, Peter was almost a friend to Max Dillon before he became Electro, being essentially the only one (other than Gwen) who ever genuinely cared about Max and paid attention to him as an individual instead of as an number (even going so far as to say that he is his "eyes and ears"), saving his life and allowing Max to gain some self-worth.
- Upon reuniting with Max after he gets his powers, he attempts to reason with him and not engage in combat. Then, when Electro attacks after believing Peter set him up, he saves several citizens from being electrocuted by the villain.
- When he meets Harry, he embraces his childhood friend and spends the day catching up with him, which Harry greatly appreciates.
- He tried to convince his best friend Harry that if Spider-Man gave him his blood, Harry would die, and felt torn over whether to help him or not.
- While he intended on breaking his promise to Captain Stacy, he felt really guilty and decided to temporarily break up with Gwen because of it.
- He refused to let Gwen come with him to fight Electro in the grid to keep her safe, only webbing her hand to a police car because she wouldn't listen. Then, when Gwen hit Electro with the police car to save Peter, he warned her to leave and only reluctantly accepted her help because she knew how to defeat Electro.
- Defeated Electro by overloading him, saving New York.
- He was utterly broken by the fact that he couldn't save Gwen when she fell to her death in the clock tower, taking full responsibility for breaking his promise to Captain Stacy.
- Plus, he still showed guilt for this in No Way Home as he told his MCU counterpart that he'll never forgive himself for this.
- After being encouraged by Gwen's graduation speech, Peter takes up the mantle of Spider-Man once again after a five-month hiatus.
- When he was about to fight Rhino as Spider-Man, he approached a little boy dressed as Spider-Man who stared the villain face-to-face before he arrived with inspiring words, going so far as to say that he was the bravest boy he had ever seen.
Spider-Man: No Way Home
- After realizing that an alternate version of himself was in distress, Peter immediately stepped in and offered to help him.
- He and Raimiverse Spider-Man comfort MCU Peter over MCU May Parker, who got killed by the Raimiverse Green Goblin, and told him about their own mistakes of losing their loved ones, as well as the importance of being Spider-Man from their deceased relatives.
- Helps MCU Peter in his plan to cure all their villains instead of killing them, personally making the cure for Dr. Connors.
- Before they begin fighting the rest of the villains, he tells the other two Peters that he loves both of them, which they both appreciate.
- Saves MJ from falling to her death, preventing MCU Peter from having to experience the same pain he went through after losing Gwen. Then, as he asks MJ if she's alright, tears form in his eyes, overjoyed that he saved her, achieving spiritual redemption for Gwen's death.
- Instead of attacking Electro straight away, he tried to calm him down and talk to him. Once Electro was cured, he talks with him, assuring Max that he was never a nobody when he deprecates himself, then helps him up.
- He throws MCU Peter the cure for Norman Osborn, allowing him to permanently cure Norman of the Green Goblin persona thereby redeeming himself for his refusal to help his version of Harry Osborn cure his illness which led to him becoming his version of the Green Goblin who killed Gwen out of the same hatred that motivated Raimiverse Goblin to kill MCU May Parker.
- Before MCU Peter leaves, he and Raimiverse Peter embrace him, then he salutes Raimiverse Peter in peace hand sign before returning to his home universe.
- Despite the high admirable standards of the MCU, Peter easily passes it with no Avengers to help him in his world, a more complicated life and generally less resources than the Pure Goods and even Near Pure Goods, especially since he was only on Earth-616 for a while.
What Prevents Him From Being Pure Good?
- When he wanted to get answers about his parent's disappearance, he stole another random teenager's name tag so he could get inside Oscorp with a group that was being given a tour, leading to that teenager being falsely kicked out, showing no remorse over that.
- He is sometimes arrogant and has jerk-like behavior at times, such as when he decided to joke with the Rhino instead of stopping him immediately, which caused the villain to crash into multiple cars.
Trivia
- Along with Peter B. Parker (Spider-Verse Trilogy), he is one of the 2 versions of Spider-Man to be Near Pure Good.
