Song Jae-ik is one of the major characters in the first season of the 2022 Netflix Korean Drama All of Us Are Dead. He is a police detective that plays a key part in trying to stop the catastrophic zombie outbreak in a city by trying to get to the military to with the information about how to stop the zombie virus, which it is in the laptop of Lee Byeong-chan, the creator of the virus.
He was portrayed by Lee Kyu-hyung and by Greg Chun in English Dub.

What Makes Him Close to Being Pure Good?[]
- As a detective, it is his job to solve cases and arrest criminals.
- He attempts to get to the military district to tell of them about a potential cure, after he is told about it by Lee Byeong-chan.
- Saved several people from zombie attacks, including a police officer named Jeon Ho-chul.
- Saved a baby and a girl who was being chased by zombies.
- Saved a young influencer called "Orangegibberish".
- After Ho-chul accidentally hit Eun-ji, a hybrid, with the bus, he went to save her, which managed to get them found and picked up by the military.
- He got to the military with the laptop, which led to the outbreak being controlled and most zombies dealt with.
What Prevents Him From Being Pure Good?[]
- While sometimes it is justified due to Ho-chul and Orangegibberish's incompetence, he has a couple of jerk moments towards them, such as calling Ho-chul an idiot or slapping Orangegibberish a few times, and even one moment where when he threatened Ho-chul if he left him, by turning into a zombie and coming back for him.
