| ~ Saori's most popular quote. |
| “ | I see Our hatred... and the words "everything is in vain"... … Everything I've done, it's all lies. I was stupid, clumsy, and weak. Like a plague, I drove everyone to ruin. what. It was like that after all. It was all because of me. Azusa was able to be happy because she was free from me. I just wanted to deny that truth to the end. | „ |

Her Good Ranking[]
What Makes Her Close to Being Pure Good?[]
- Although it is true that she participated in terrorism against Trinity and Gehenna, nearly causing both school to wage war against each other, and nearly killed Sensei, this isn't entirely her fault. As she was manipulated and indoctrinated by Beatrice into becoming the nihilistic terrorist she is now. Not to mention, Atsuko's life was at stake if she had not obeyed. Thereby, making Beatrice entirely to blame for her crimes.
- In the past, she took care of Misaki and Hiyori, who were orphans like her. and later Atsuko.
- It is also heavily implied that she saved Misako from suicidally drowning.
- She rescued Azusa who was likely on the verge on dying from enforcers and took her in as her underling to keep her in check.
- She went to Sensei to save Atsuko, telling him that Atsuko was going to be killed as a sacrifice to Beatrice, expressing her helplessness and begging Sensei to save Atsuko rather than taking up the offer to redeem herself by trying to kill Sensei again.
- After being defeated by Mika, she began to see how much pain she had brought to her squad and the actions she did. And offered the vengeful angel her life for inadvertently ruining hers.
- Under Sensei's command, she defeated Beatrice, rescued Atsuko and put an end to Beatrice's terrible plans to become a god and her reign.
- After stopping Beatrice, she was willing to take any punishment given from Sensei to atone for her misdeeds.
- She ceded the position of leader of the Arius Squad to Misaki, who had suicidal thoughts, to prevent Misaki from likely committing suicide again.
- When The Chroma invaded Kivotos, she became one of the many students who defended Kivotos from The Chroma by battling HIERONYMUS.
- In Sheside Outside, she would battle Akemi and the Sukeban to protect not only the festival but people attending the festival. And ended up stopping her with the squad and Sensei.
- While she did ask Sensei to help her find her employers and likely attack them. It's justifiable, since they didn't pay her for her services and likely manipulated her.
- Prior to that, she would also confront some Helmet Gangsters who were trying swindle Atsuko, Misaki and Hiyori of their money for meals.
- In Volume 6, she (along with the squad and Sensei), would agree to help the remaining Arius students, (those who decided to stay even after the fall of Beatrice), by teaching them about contracts and the outside world to help them cope with life.
- Also, in that same volume, she would finally not only show remorse and guilt for her past actions. But mainly for shooting Sensei and scarring them, which caused her to break down. Further showcasing how much she has grown and reformed after being free from Beatrice.
- She, along with the squad, would agree to turn themselves in to Valkyrie to face judgment for what they did at the Eden Treaty. Once they finished helping Arius Branch School.
- She would stay true to her word and turn herself in near the end of Volume 6, to which she was given parole.
- When Subaru turned into an Angel of Death, she ordered Sensei to get behind her and the squad so that they can protect them from Subaru. To which she and the squad did.
- After being on parole, she would help in rebuilding her school as being part of a temporary student council, with her suggesting getting new uniforms.
What Prevents Her From Being Pure Good?[]
- Even after redeeming herself, she still chose to join criminal organizations like the Helmet Gang and the black market. Also, Saori has shown some violence and incompetence. (Such as knocking out Don Arancino, despite being hired to protect him, which led to his minions believing she was an enemy, much to her confusion, in From Opera 0068 with Love!) However, this is a very minor prevention as Saori has little knowledge of the world due to growing up in the Arius Branch School (an isolated school underground) and the harsh training and indoctrination she experienced from Beatrice.
- Back when she was a villain, she had a Kick the Dog moment when she chastised Azusa, after defeating her, for her friendship with the Make-Up Work Club and was about to destroy the Peroro plushie she got from Hifumi (which meant a lot to her former underling).
- This makes her hypocritical, as she herself has very close relationship with the Arius Squad. In particular, Atsuko.
- She slightly fails the admirable standards to other characters like Aris and Sensei who have done more admirable actions. However, this is a very minor prevention, as Saori has less resources and power than them. (Aris is a powerful robot originally meant to destroy the world, and Sensei has access to more resources due to their position in SCHALE and the Shittim Chest.)
- That said, much of her admirable actions in Volume 6 are shared with the squad as a whole.
- While she did apologize to Sensei, she has not apologized to Azusa for what she to her as well.
- Though given that they did behave in good terms in Volume 6, it's possible she did off-screen. Though it's not confirmed.
Trivia[]
- She is, by far, the only Blue Archive character to be NPG.
