Sans is a major character in the Undertale webseries, Glitchtale, serving as the deuteragonist of Season 1 and a supporting character in Season 2.
He is a talking skeleton who is shown to have advanced knowledge of the timeline. However, despite this he is shown to be quite lazy despite his willingness to get dirty.
His Good Ranking[]
What Makes Him Close to Being Pure Good?[]
- Prior to the main series, he fought against and killed Flowey multiple times so he wouldn't kill Asgore and destroy the timeline.
- He was willing to bring himself to his knees to stop Frisk/Chara from completing the genocide route and destroying the timeline.
- After gaining Frisk's soul, he killed Chara and then reset the timeline, bringing back every character who were at one point deceased.
- Despite his own personal connection to Gaster, he still realized that he had to be killed due to the danger he presented, although he felt bad about doing so and apologized to him.
- Using Frisk's soul yet again, he kills Gaster and resets the timeline.
- It's revealed in a hidden video that he was still trying to fix the machine that could bring his father back to life. This shows that, despite his pessimism, he greatly cares for his family.
- Advises to Frisk that they shouldn't reset the timeline again as it would end up causing adverse effects, such as Chara's return.
- Despite his hatred towards Flowey, he agrees to ally himself with the other to save Frisk and stop Chara.
- Entrusted the six human souls to Flowey so that he could have a better chance at fighting Chara.
- Was finally able to bring Gaster back from the void and was very happy to see his father again.
- After Frisk breaks the Reset Button and claims that they wouldn't reset anymore (or so they said), Sans lets go of his pessimism and begins to actively enjoy life.
- Despite Asriel, as Flowey, having tormented him in the past, Sans understood that he wasn't himself and chose to forgive him. He also apologized for his past behavior towards him as well.
- Sacrificed himself to save Asriel from being killed by Bête Noire.
- Although he did fight Papyrus, this was very explicitly out of his control.
- Upon reuniting with Gaster at the arena with Papyrus, he warmly greeted his father and held no grudges for injecting him with Determination, as he understood that he only did it in an attempt to save his life.
- Despite the danger that it brought to himself; he chose to use up the rest of his life to save his family from Bête.
- Even when on death row, he chooses to ask if Papyrus and Gaster if they're okay, showing his selflessness as well as his deep care for his family.
What Prevents Him From Being Pure Good?[]
- He has tendencies to threaten others at points, such as when he subtly threatened Flowey into giving him a wrench instead of doing it himself.
- Had a violent reaction to when Frisk suggested they reset, which ended with him threatening to kill Frisk and ultimately ending their friendship. Though the anger was warranted, it was still an overreaction.
Trivia[]
- He is currently the only Glitchtale character to be Near Pure Good.
