~ The Sans hallucination reflecting on his real life counterpart's death. |
Sans is the posthumous overarching antagonist of the 2017 animation, DISBELIEF (Papyrus's Genocide Route) that is based off the 2015 Indie-game, Undertale. He is Papyrus' older brother who attempted to fight Frisk in Snowdin instead of the Last Corridor after having become aware of their endless amounts of genocide runs. Unfortunately, he dies by their hand, leaving his grieving brother to fight in his place.
His Good Ranking[]
What Makes Him Close to Being Pure Good?[]
- He most likely committed the same heroics acts as his Undertale counterpart.
- As revealed in the prologue, he tried several times to stop Frisk's repeated genocide in many runs prior to the main story.
- Convinced Papyrus to not capture the human for his own safety.
- In Papyrus' place, he fought Frisk at the end of Snowdin, trying to kil them several times in order to prevent them from continuing their genocide run.
- He cares deeply for his friends and family, as demonstrated by how he had grown tired of seeing them die repeatedly and wanted to stop it.
- While he did seem rather aggressive and lethal when fighting Frisk in the flashback, this is justified due to their intentions.
What Prevents Him From Being Pure Good?[]
- Due to him only properly being seen in the prologue, and the version who's fought alongside Papyrus being a hallucination alongside Undyne, he lacks the characterization necessary for Pure Good. With that said, the hallucination who's fought gives a rough estimate as to what he was like and he cared for his friends and brother to the point where he died for them, so he still has enough personality for NPG.
