Samantha Stevens is the main character of the series Bewitched. A kind witch who lives with her mortal husband Darrin, as well as with her children Tabitha and Adam.
She was portrayed by late Elizabeth Montgomery.

What Makes Her Close to Being Pure Good?[]
In General[]
- Despite the fact that she is a witch, she has a clear moral will, and unlike her relatives, she is very kind to mortals.
- She cherishes her family very much, in particular her husband Darrin, even though he is mortal, as well as her parents, children, uncles, aunts and cousins. She also forced them to accept Darrin into their family and respect him, although they most often did not. And although she ran away from Darrin a couple of times, she immediately returned to him after he apologized, showing that she could not live without him.
- She does a lot for the benefit of others, and is always ready to help those who need it, even in small things. She also disenchanted people turned into animals/objects in every possible way, relieving them of suffering while in these forms.
Season 1[]
- Although she turned Rex Barker into a dog, she only did it so that he wouldn't molest her, and so Darrin wouldn't see it. Then she completely saved Barker's life from wild cats and turned him back into a human.
- She helped the boy Marshall Burns, who was overprotected by his mother, gain self-confidence, and eventually participate in baseball competitions.
- She and her aunts taught a lesson to Darrin's client, who forced him to make slogans with ugly witches, after which this client had already changed his attitude towards witches and allowed him to draw them beautiful.
- She saved Darrin from athlete Marvin Grogan.
- She was offended by her father Maurice for vaporizing Darrin, and eventually forced him to return him, after which Maurice became reluctant to respect his son-in-law.

What Prevents Her From Being Pure Good?[]
- She has moments when she shows herself irritable, and even begins using witchcraft to publicly shame her abusers. Although most of the time they bring her down, it's still pretty rude on Samantha's part.
