Minako Aino (aka Sailor Venus and Sailor V) is one of the main characters in the Sailor Moon franchise. She is the fifth member of the Sailor Guardians team to be met by Sailor Moon, despite the fact that her powers were awakened first. In battle, she uses powers related to love. She dreams of becoming a "star".
In the DIC English dub, she was voiced by Stephanie Morgenstern. In the Cloverway dub, she was voiced by Emilie-Claire Barlow. In the VIZ English dub, she was voiced by Cherami Leigh, who also dubbed for Isobel in Turning Mecard in the Mattel English dub.

What Makes Her Close to Being Pure Good?[]
In General[]
- Even before joining the rest of the Sailor Guardians, she was the superhero Sailor V, who protected the people of London from evil forces. For this, she became famous as a superheroine and many comics and figurines were created about her, as well as earned an army of fans.
- In general, she is one of the best Sailor Scouts, and in this regard she copes no worse than others, and sometimes better due to the fact that she was a superhero even before them.
- She takes great care of her friends, as well as her companion Artemis.
Sailor Moon (season 1)[]
- She saved all the Sailor Guardians from Zoisite and Kunsite, and then joined them. She also became a loyal friend to them and her cat Artemis, and began to protect the world from evil forces with them.
- She took great care of Katarina and Alan, and they were like family to her. She was also sad to realize that Alan was in love with Katarina, because Minako loved him. She also eventually accepted their love, and did not allow Sailor Moon to kill Katarina when she was turned into a monster.
- Along with the other Sailor Guardians, she sacrificed her life to save Sailor Moon and let her fight Queen Beryl.
Sailor Moon R[]
- Since their memories are restored, she later joined the other Sailor Senshi to defeat villains Alan and Ann.
- Together with Sailor Moon, she protected the school bus from demons.
- She took part in saving Earth from the Dark Moon Clan.
Sailor Moon S[]
- Together with other Sailor Scouts, she began to confront the Apostles of Death in order to prevent them from extracting crystals from the pure hearts of people.
- She was disgusted by the actions of Sailor Uranus and Sailor Neptune, as they did not save the innocent when they had the opportunity.
- She pretended to be Sailor Moon to mislead Kaorinite and the demoness.
- She was saddened that she might not have a pure heart, and tried to prove it, which she eventually did.
- She helped defeat Eudial, and bring back the talismans Sailor Uranus and Sailor Neptune.
- She saved her friend Tsutomu Asai from a demon.
- She took part in saving the Earth from Pharaoh 90.

- She took part in saving the Earth from the Xenian flower.
- She took part in saving the Earth from the Snow Princess Kaguya.

Sailor Moon SuperS[]
- She, along with other Sailor Scouts, began to confront the Dead Moon Circus in order to prevent them from getting the magic horse Pegasus.
- She, along with other Sailor Scouts, saved Pegasus and defeated Queen Nehelenia.
Sailor Moon Sailor Stars[]
- She saved Sailor Pluto in Queen Nehelenia's Mirror Maze.
- She and the other Sailor Scouts sympathized with Queen Nehelenia, and allowed her to redeem herself.
- She sacrificed herself to save Sailor Moon.
What Prevents Her From Being Pure Good?[]
- Although she is very kind and sweet to her friends most of the time, sometimes she is also capable of being rude to them, such as when she scolds Artemis for allegedly cheating on Luna, or when she grabbed his tail for making a sarcastic remark to her.
- In one episode, she behaved quite selfishly when she began dating two guys at once, and when it turned out that they were Hawk's Eye and Tiger's Eye, she hypocritically accused them of using her, although she did the same to them.
- She has one reckless act: when she was disguised as Sailor Moon to deceive Kaorinite, and thus prevent her from exposing Usagi, Minako almost blurted out that she was not really Sailor Moon, but the other Sailor Guardians stopped her. However, this is just one moment, and in the end she didn't give herself away, so this is minor prevention.
