~ Eggsy's message to Roxy through he glasses when she helps him at his dinner with Princess Tilde's parents |
Roxanne "Roxy" Morton, titled Lancelot, is a deuteragonist of the tongue-in-cheek spy movie homage, Kingsman: The Secret Service, as well as playing a minor role in the sequel, Kingsman: The Golden Circle.
She is introduced as one of the only two female recruits training to become a Kingsman but proves herself as a force to be reckoned with through her resourcefulness in the early challenges. She quickly befriends Eggsy in the process, and their friendship stays strong even after they both officially become agents. However, when the billionaire echo terrorist, Richmond Valentine, plans on wiping out humanity with SIM cards he implanted inside everyone's phones, it's up to her, Eggsy, and Merlin to foil his plot of omnicide.
She is played by Sophie Cookson.
Her Good Ranking[]
What Makes Her Close to Being Pure Good?[]
- Unlike the other recruits, she was warm towards Eggsy and didn't judge him for being working class.
- When she was led to believe Eggsy had no parachute in a skydiving task, she held onto him so they could both use hers.
- She refused to give Kingsman up even if it meant dying as shown by her passing the train test.
- Despite having acrophobia, she still risked her life by strapping herself to high-altitude balloons that would lift her high enough to blow up Valentine's satellite, delaying his attempted omnicide and saving billions of lives in the process.
- She called Eggsy's mother, Michelle, and told her to lock away his younger sister, Daisy, as once Valentine's SIM cards were activated, Michelle would be overcome by violent urges. This prevented her from being able to kill Daisy while under the influence of the SIM cards.
- She helped Eggsy impress his future in-laws by giving him the answers to the questions they asked over dinner.
- She is unique amongst the Kingsman cast as she is able to meet the high admirable standards of the franchise without having any confirmed kills.
What Prevents Her From Being Pure Good?[]
- She was willing to shoot her own dog to pass the final test and become a Kingsman. This is a minor prevention, however, as the gun was a blank and it happened entirely offscreen.
Trivia[]
- She, alongside Orlando Oxford, is one of the only two heroes from the Kingsman franchise to be Near Pure Good.
- She shares a surname with the main villain of The Kings Man, Maximillian Morton. It has not been confirmed if she is descended from him though.
