RoboCop is the main character of a series of science fiction films of the same name.
Initially, he was an ordinary Detroit police officer named Alex Murphy, until he was killed in the line of duty. After that, OCP Corporation took Alex's body and created a Robocop based on his central nervous system. A long time later, the resulting cyborg remembered certain moments of his past and began calling himself Alex Murphy again.
Although it would seem that he began to have some problems with his moral will after becoming a cyborg, since his activities were limited to only three main directives, he then deliberately violated these directives, which became possible due to the manifestations of the cyborg's human nature, and this clearly demonstrates his moral will.
He was always a fair policeman who always arrested and defeated criminals, as well as saved the innocent from them.
RoboCop (1987)[]
He patrolled the city and proved to be extremely effective at catching bandits.
Memories of his past life began to return to him, and after that, his last memories of the Clarence Boddicker gang began to return.
He began investigating his own murder, and went to his old house, remembering his son James and wife Ellen, whom he loved the most. The house was now empty, as after the funeral, the young widow and son had moved in to start over. This made Murphy very sad.
Murphy was eager to find Clarence Boddicker to avenge his death. He got on Boddicker's trail and made an independent raid on a drug purification plant. After a lengthy firefight, cyborg kills almost the entire gang and defeats Boddicker.
He brought his Boddicker to the police station to be arrested.
He was trying to arrest the evil OCP vice president Richard "Dick" Jones.
He kills Boddicker and his entire gang, thereby preventing their violent crimes.
He kills Dick Jones when he took an old Man hostage.
RoboCop 2[]
Only he and Ann Lewis continued to fight the criminals who were wreaking havoc on the streets of Detroit.
He removed a lot of unnecessary directives from himself, which made him a laughing stock.
He, along with other police officers, went to Kane's hideout, where he fought with his gang.
He defeated Cain, thereby ending his many atrocities and the spread of the dangerous drug.
RoboCop 3[]
Realizing this, some of the residents of Detroit organize an insurgency. he and Lewis initially opposed the rebels, but, realizing their rightness, at the last moment they sided with the rebellious residents of the city.
During one of the fights, Lewis was killed by Mcdaggett's bullet, and Murphy vowed to avenge her death.
He got into a battle with a villainous Japanese robot, and eventually blew it up.
He intervened in a battle that was almost lost by the police, destroying armored cars with rockets and destroying bandits and OCP fighters with machine-gun fire.
He came to Mcdaggett's office to arrest him for multiple crimes, and eventually defeated him.
What Prevents Him From Being Pure Good?[]
He is quite lethal and violent towards his enemies, such as when he brutally beat Boddicker before arresting him, or when he painfully interrogated one of the bandits. Although, of course, all his victims even more than deserve it (especially Boddicker), and he usually shows cruelty only when his enemies provide a harsh provocation.
