“ | Titans, go! | „ |
~ Robin's catchphrase. |
“ | There is good and there is evil, but the line between can be almost impossible to find. Does one good deed make him a hero? Am I to blame for all of it because of a single mistake? In the end, all I really know is that the answers don't come easy. It's supposed to be simple, but it's not. | „ |
~ Robin at the end of "X". |
“ | As much as I hate to admit it, he and I are kind of alike. But there's one big difference between me and Slade: he doesn't have any friends. | „ |
~ Robin, about his arch-enemy Slade. |
“ | Do not watch this program! It will liquefy your brain! An escaped criminal has tampered with this transmission, and it is imperative that you turn off your television right now! I'm serious! Stop watching this show! | „ |
~ Robin. |

His Good Ranking[]
What Makes Him Close to Being Pure Good?[]
- Although he had severe corrupting factors, such as his lethal and anti-heroic traits and acting angry and aggressive towards his teammates, especially when it comes to dealing with Slade, he subverts this by the end of the series.
- He led the Titans in stopping many villains and protecting Jump City.
- He cares a lot for the titans' safety and looks out for them.
- He cares the most about Starfire and puts her safety before his.
- He is determined to not rest until evil is stopped.
- He fights against Slade multiple times.
- He defeats Cinderblock and Plasmus.
- He and the other Titans defeat Jinx, Gizmo, and Mammoth when they attacked Jump City and took over their home.
- Although he used Red X's identity and stole computer chips and handed them to Slade, he was only intending to capture Slade and stop his plans and didn't tell his friends, only because he feared they wouldn't play their parts and get captured.
- He only agreed to be Slade's apprentice to keep his friends safe.
- He blasted the titans with the thermal blaster to stop Slade from killing them with the nanoscopic probes inside them.

- Although he became unhinged and threatened his friends, it's only because he was being haunted by Slade, so he never showed signs of this again.
- He reconciled his relationship with Starfire when they were stranded on a planet after accidentally saying Starfire is not his girlfriend.
- He willingly teamed up with Slade to rescue Raven.
- He helped Raven and the other titans in defeating Trigon.
- He defeats Ding Dong Daddy and retrieves the briefcase with Robin's secret.
- Before he met the titans, he freed Starfire from the cuffs that the Gordanians trapped her in.
- He defeated Uehara Daizo and Brushogun.
- He freed Brushogun from Daizo, who captured him in monstrous ink.
- Although he initially thought there was nothing else to him and the other Titans other than being heroes and that heroes don't take vacations, he eventually came to the conclusion that there's more to him than just a hero when he reveals his feelings to Starfire, and even he and the Titans need a vacation by choosing to continue their visit in Tokyo in the end of Teen Titans: Trouble in Tokyo.
What Prevents Him From Being Pure Good?[]
- Although he shed his anti-heroic and lethal traits, he still has a bit of arrogance and can be hypercompetitive on something.
- He can be a bit jerkish and a control freak sometimes, such as having a tendency to be strict with his teammates, even when they can find something too drastic.
- Can be insulting to his foes such as in Trouble in Tokyo where he made fun of Brushogun's creations saying "he was a salamander".
- Can act very jealous when other guys show interest in Starfire, even going as far as attacking them (though this is rare).
