Red is one of the four deuteragonists (alongside his "older brothers" Blue, Green and Yellow) of the Animator vs. Animation franchise.
He's one of the four Fighting Stick Figures. Red is childish and impulsive, being eager for adventure and having a big love for animals. He is also a prankster who occasionally likes to mess around.

What Makes Him Close to Being Pure Good?[]
In General[]
- Despite the numerous arguments with them, Red does genuinely care about the other stick figures and doesn't want them hurt.
- While he does have quite a kill count, the huge majority of those are justifiable and the ones that aren't are listed below as preventions.
Animator vs. Animation[]
- He quickly befriended the Second Coming and went to have fun with him on the computer.
- Off-screen, he forgave the Animator for killing him and the other Fighting Stick Figures.
- He helped his friends defeat the ViraBot virus that invaded the computer, even if they needed help from the Chosen One.
- He tried to defeat the Dark Lord, even if he got killed almost instantly.
- When the Chosen One took an unwilling Second Coming with him to the Outernet, he and his friends rushed in to help them.
- When he realised the Chosen One and the Second Coming were kidnapped, he and his friends immediately tried to find and save them, personally defeating Ballista in the process.
Animation vs. Minecraft[]
- Despite not being responsible for what Herobrine did while possessing him, he still apologized towards his friends after he was freed from his control.
- He tried to stop his pig from hurting his friends when it became hostile, and mourned its death despite its villainous acts.
- Unlike Green, The Second Coming and Yellow, his actions in "PvP" are purely self-defence as his friends were being attacked.
- He was heartbroken when the Second Coming temporarily and accidentally killed Green, helping build a grave for him. That said, he still didn't blame the Second Coming for this.
- When Blue and Green go missing, he goes to find them with The Second Coming and Yellow, and saves them from falling to their deaths.
- In the SkyBlock world, he helped his friends survive with a farm for animals.
- He tried to help his friends make it back into the Nether and then return home.
- He helped his friends save the Dolphin Queen after she was kidnapped by the Elder Guardian.
- He played a big role in freeing his friends from the Orbs by spawning the pig that would destroy the First Orb and free everyone in the process.
- When Blue went to the Nether to get some nether warts, he followed him to make sure he's safe.
- He helped his friends defeat the Witch.
- He only didn't follow Purple because the Second Coming didn't allow him, felt bad about it, and then willingly went back to him once he saw Purple sad.
- When he realized the Stick Gang are taking too long beating the parkour course, he tried to make sure if they're okay.
- While he did get into a brutal fight with The Second Coming, he eventually tried to stop it by running away and the two have forgiven each other afterwards. It also helps that the narrative treats him as the one in the right.
- When he realized Purple is evil again and wants to steal the Game Icon, he tried to stop him.
- Despite suffering cruel bullying at the hands of Endie, Skellington and Spider, he still saved them when they were about to be killed by some Steve clones, and continued to do so even after they kept being ungrateful.
- He let the other students brutally beat him up just so his teammates could win the race. This is what convinced them to redeem themselves.
- He stopped King Orange from reclaiming the Game Icon with help from Spider.
- He helped in defeating the Dark Mobs created by King Orange.
- Despite all that Purple did to him, he was sad when he was temporarily killed.
- He played a major part in recreating all of Minecraft after King Orange destroyed it, although not as much as the Second Coming, Yellow or Purple.
- He forgave both Purple and King Orange for their crimes despite all they did.
- He gave Alexcrafter28 his Game Icon back after the Second Coming stole it.
- Although he’s responsible for the conflict in "Lucky Block Staff", he made up in the end by having Beeper defeat the Orb, and the end of the episode shows he regrets his mistake, additionally building a grave for Beeper.
Other[]
- He helped his friends defeat their enemies in League of Legends.
- He and the other FSF slowed Purple down, thus allowing the Second Coming to destroy his Nexus and defeat him.
- He and the other sticks gave Purple a chance to redeem himself.
- He personally redeems Mario 3 by being amazed by what the things from his game can do and inviting him to a game with the other sticks and Marios.
- He helped his friends defeat Q*bert.
- He donated a large sum of money to the #TeamSeas movement, although he later discussed with the Animator to make it a smaller one.
- He helped the Second Coming stop the Enchanted Origamis, who were destroying everything on the computer.
- He genuinely tried to help the Animator write a formal e-mail to his friend, even if he did go overboard with it.
What Prevents Him From Being Pure Good?[]
- He can be a jerk sometimes, such as when he blew up Green's builds out of being a sore loser, scared Blue, Green and the Second Coming with faces of Creepers and Endermen, threw Spider off a cliff in order to force him to learn how to use his web (although this isn't lethal as there was water below), punched Yellow in the chest for trying to see if he's okay, got extremely competitive during the minecart race, tried to steal the Chef's cookbook because he didn't want to do his tasks, got extremely spiteful over his failed attempts at pranking Green, or ignored Green's suffering to join the Silverfish's concert.
- He can be reckless, such as when he did parkour over lava while endangering himself, Green and the Animator's documents (resulting in his family photos being burned), cooked Green over a fire to make the Second Coming quit eating pork (even if he wouldn't have actually gotten Green killed), outright briefly killed himself by wanting to test if beds explode in the Nether despite being warned by Yellow, or playing with the Lucky Block despite knowing the chaos that happened last time (causing the Orb to return and Beeper to make a heroic sacrifice).
