Ramona Flowers is the main protagonist of the 2023 Netflix original anime Scott Pilgrim Takes Off, a loose adaptation of the original Scott Pilgrim comics & film.

After her love interest Scott Pilgrim seemingly dies during his fight with her evil ex Matthew Patel, she uncovers the truth that he was actually kidnapped. She decides to investigate his disappearance and starts by paying a visit to each of her Evil Exes, whom she believes to be responsible.

She is voiced by Mary Elizabeth Winstead, who also portrayed her in the live action film Scott Pilgrim vs. The World.

What Makes Her Close to Being Pure Good?[]

  • During her date with Scott, she invited him back to her place so he wouldn't have to walk home during the snow storm, made him tea and offered to get him a blanket to keep him warm.
  • When the two of them hooked up and Scott said he wasn't sure if he was ready for sex, she was very understanding and respected his wishes, choosing to just cuddle instead.
  • She takes up Scott's offer to attend his band Sex Bom-Omb's concert and shows a genuine interest in his work.
  • After Scott's apparent "death", she attended his funeral despite only knowing him for two days and was the only person there who was genuinely hurt by Scott's passing.
  • When she learned that someone faked Scott's death and kidnapped him, she decided to investigate on her own despite everyone doubting her and advising she not get involved.
  • She reconciled with most of her Evil Exes, including Roxie Richter, whom she apologized to for abandoning out of nowhere when they were dating, and making her feel like nothing. The two eventually make up and become friends.
  • When Ramona, her Evil Exes, Scott and all of their friends were teleported to the future by Scott's evil counterpart from the future, Ramona fought alongside them and helped defeat Older Scott, saving all of their lives.
  • After defeating Older Scott, she and her future counterpart Old Ramona, merged together after Ramona "chose herself" over Scott, embracing the part of herself she had been running from her whole life.

What Prevents Her From Being Pure Good?[]

  • Despite reconciling with them, she stills acts like a jerk to some of her exes, like Lucas Lee and the Katayanagi Twins.
  • Like her original counterpart, she has a very cynical attitude and can come across as rude at times.
