Rabbid Luigi is one of the Rabbid protagonists from the Mario + Rabbids series. He was once an ordinary Rabbid up until the basement incident where he was merged with the Luigi outfit by Spawny and transported to the Mushroom Kingdom with the rest of the Rabbids and has been living there since then.

What Makes Him Close to Being Pure Good?[]

Rabbid Luigi was once like the rest of the Rabbids who have moral agency issues as shown with their deranged behavior and incoherent personalities, but by the time of Sparks of Hope where he is able to speak, much less stupid, and have his own personality, his moral agency is now much clearer to which it's no longer a problem.
For the most part, he does at first join in on cheering when his Rabbid friends do something questionable, but when he sees that Mario or other characters disapproving of their actions or don't find it funny, he stops which does help him develop his character and while he may have laughed at Mario when the Phantom of the Bwahpera was singing an insulting song about him and his series, this sadism does not carry over to the sequel and it helps that he doesn't appear in the Rayman in the Phantom Show DLC since Rabbid Mario and Rabbid Peach poke fun at Rayman when the same Phantom gives him the same treatment he did Mario.
Rabbid Luigi has contributed to defeating Rabbid Kong after Bowser Jr. used him to try to defeat them.
He has also put a stop to Blizzy and Sandy's attacks on Sherbet Desert.
He helps escort Toad, Toadette, and later Spawny while protecting them from the corrupted Rabbids that would potentially hurt them and defeats the Phantom.
After Spawny is hypnotized and captured and Bowser becomes possessed by the MegaBug, Rabbid Luigi and the Heroes work together to free both of them from the MegaBug and also managed to destroy it, saving the world.

Sparks of Hope[]

Rabbid Luigi, along with the heroes, came to Mario, Beep-0, and Rabbid Peach's rescue when they were on the Darkmess Manta and at Cursa's mercy and managed to escape before Cursa got a hold of them.
He helps save the planets from succumbing to the Darkmess spread by Cursa that was causing a lot of disastrous phenomena there, from the Beacon Beach suffering a rainfall and perpetual darkness, Pristine Peaks going through a blizzard and extreme cold that threatened to render it inhospitable, Palette Prime losing much of its life and color on its forest, Terra Flora undergoing a drought, Barrendale Mesa suffering from an electical storm, and Melodic Gardens from fading away due to its perpetual silence.
He helps to defeat the Spark Hunters, Midnite, Bedrock, Daphne, and in the DLC, Kanya who seek to capture the Sparks to absorb their energy to crush Rosalina's will to assume complete control.
When Edge starts coming clean about her shady history as the former leader of the Spark Hunters before she reformed, Rabbid Luigi comforts her that she has done enough heroic deeds to be worthy of their trust and is still accepting to her despite the revalation.
He managed to liberate the drained Sparks as well as Rosalina from Cursa's control and he, with his friends managed to finish off Cursa once and for all.
In The Tower of Doooom DLC, he contributes to saving Spawny from the depths of the Tower guarded by Cursa's minions.

What Prevents Him From Being Pure Good?[]

Rabbid Luigi has some mischievous moments to the point where he does some pretty jerkish and selfish acts, which is shown towards his friends such as when he stole Rabbid Mario's overalls from him and when he is revealed to be the culprit, he explains that he himself wanted to be the only Rabbid who wears overalls, which makes this action somewhat petty, and even if they are still on good terms, he does not apologize for this act. In another scenario, he also has some particularly skewed priorities when Barrendale Mesa's warden Momma was captured by Daphne, he was more concerned with not getting any food or cucumber water than he is with a living person whose life is being threatened; Edge herself, who personally knows the Spark Hunters, confirms that Daphne is a sadistic dirty tactician who's willing to cross the line if she wants to. Even if his reaction is played for laughs, the rest of the cast take the situation seriously.

Trivia[]

He and Rabbid Rosalina are the only two Rabbids to be Near Pure Good. Coincidentally, their counterparts are Pure Good.
