~ Quiet Robe (translated from Chozo) |
Quiet Robe is a supporting character who made his first appearance in Metroid Dread.
He is a Thoha Chozo scientist who created the Metroids alongside countless other Thoha to eradicate the X-Parasites, but when the Metroids went rogue, they turn to the Mawkin, led by Raven Beak for help in containing them. Tragedy later struck when the Thoha, who intended on destroying planet SR388 to destroy the Metroids, were all wiped out by the Mawkin at Raven Beak's command, leaving Quiet Robe as the only survivor, as a Thoha is needed to control the Metroids, and he was forced to cooperate against his will in Raven Beak's quest to conquer the galaxy, but after the X-Parasite outbreak delayed his mission, Samus Aran had already wiped out the Metroids. However, she happened to carry the Metroid DNA within her, so Raven Beak managed to lure Samus to ZDR so he can resume what he started.

His Good Ranking[]
What Makes Him Close to Being Pure Good?[]
[]
- Quiet Robe and his fellow researchers created the X-Parasite's natural predator, the Metroids, to help deal with the X-Parasites.
- He and the tribe join forces with the Mawkin to help contain the Metroids when they started to go rogue and the Thoha intended on destroying SR388 in order to eliminate them, before Raven Beak had a large population of the Thoha, minus Quiet Robe himself, massacred. Neither Quiet Robe nor the other Chozo saw that coming.
On His Own Accord[]
- While Quiet Robe was working under Raven Beak's supervision, he was never willingly evil, but rather, forced to be a participant in his plans in galactic conquest. He only helped him in any way because he had to, not because he wanted to, especially since he was constantly dealing with Raven Beak's ruthless and power-hungry nature who will do anything to get what he wants, which included the extermination of his kind.
- When Samus was being attacked by the purple E.M.M.I. and about to be killed for her Metroid DNA, Quiet Robe quickly disables it to save her from being impaled by it.
- Given that he is the only Chozo in this game who is not an enemy, Quiet Robe managed to show Samus that he didn't wish harm upon her to gain her trust, and he tells the entire history of the Metroids, the X-Parasites, as well as the Mawkin and Thoha history, which sheds light on what's going on, including Raven Beak's intentions and why the E.M.M.I. are coming after her.
- After Samus assures him that she will do anything she can to end his threat, Quiet Robe deactivates the E.M.M.I. and opens the door in Burenia to allow her access to Ghavoran.
- Even beyond death, Quiet Robe, even as an X, retains his benevolent nature. When Samus is attempting to escape ZDR, she is unable to because of her transformation into a full Metroid, preventing her from interacting with the controls without draining the ship's energy. It was then Quiet Robe X arrives and helps to revert the effects of her transformation, which allows her to use her ship to get off the planet safely.
- Even though he isn't as admirable as Samus, Quiet Robe has far fewer resources than her and stands out a bit in his own right.
What Prevents Him From Being Pure Good?[]
- Quiet Robe falls short of Metroid's in-story standards a little bit to some of Samus's various allies who have similar resources.
Trivia[]
- He and Samus are currently the only two Metroid characters to be Near Pure Good.
