Queen Sarai is a posthumous character in the Netflix TV Show The Dragon Prince. She was the late mother of Callum and Ezran, as well as the wife of King Harrow, who died in a mission to retrieve the heart of a magma titan from Xadia.
She was voiced by Kazumi Evans.

What Makes Her Close to Being Pure Good?[]
- Trained the army of Katolis alongside her sister Amaya so it could protect the kingdom in case it was ever in grave danger. The troops were so well-trained that Katolis' army was considered the strongest in all of the Human Kingdoms.
- After marrying Harrow, Sarai tried to help Callum and Harrow get closer to each other in hopes for Callum to see Harrow as his new father figure after the death of Callum's father.
- She also told Callum to remember his father and not forget him, as she believed that the best way to deal with someone's death is by remembering them, but still being capable of moving on.
- She helped Harrow in his choices as king and served as a supporting figure for Harrow during her time alive.
- Her reasons for becoming the queen of Katolis was because she wanted to help her people and be a queen her people could be proud of.
- She would always make Viren happy whenever he was feeling depressed, and Viren came to care about her so much that even when he became a genocidal and power hungry warlord, he still cared enough about Sarai to go to her grave to honor her memory.
- She was against the use of dark magic and taught both Callum and Ezran that the use of it was wrong.
- After finding out about Viren's plan to kill a magma titan, Sarai tried to convince Harrow not to do it, and while she would later join Harrow after she failed to convince him, it was only because she wanted to protect him during his mission in Xadia.
- She was the one to defeat the magma titan and play the biggest role in getting the heart to the Human Kingdoms to end the famine in Katolis and Duren.
- She told Harrow and Viren that she would stay with Amaya while they went back to the Human Kingdoms to end the famine, although Harrow refused to leave them behind.
- She and Harrow were willing to distract Avizandum so the others of the expedition could get the magma titan's heart to the Human Kingdoms, and only didn't because the Queens of Duren stopped them and decided to give their lives to fight off Avizandum.
- After finding out that Viren went to recklessly attack Avizandum, Sarai risks her life to rescue Viren, which is what got her killed by the dragon king.
- Her actions are the main reason why the famine in Duren and Katolis was stopped, saving hundreds of thousands of people in the process.
- Years after her death, Viren used a dagger made out of several magic items, Harrow's blood, and Sarai's last breath, to kill Avizandum, and when Harrow was about to use it to kill the Dragon King, Sarai used her last breath to beg for Harrow not to kill him, showing that she never wished for her death to be avenged and wanted peace between the Human Kingdoms and Xadia to still exist.
- Even after her death, Harrow always tried to be a noble and brave king for his subjects in order to honor Sarai's memory.
- Her love for her children was proven to be so strong that Callum saw her as a wise and nice person while he was having hallucinations after using dark magic. During said hallucination, Sarai would comfort Callum and tell him that his destiny was his to make and no one else's, with these words inspiring Callum to try to use magic naturally, which works.
What Prevents Her From Being Pure Good?[]
- Despite her sacrifice and heroic actions, Sarai is unable to pass the standards of the show due to several characters (notably Rayla and Sarai's own son Ezran) being more admirable than her as they ended the conflict between the Human Kingdoms and Xadia, with Rayla in particular having considerably lower resources.
Trivia[]
- She and Zubeia are the two Dragon Prince characters to be Near Pure Good so far. Ironically, both are mothers of main characters in the series.
