Perfuma is a supporting character in the 2018 Netflix animated series She-Ra and the Princesses of Power. She is the pacifistic and spiritual leader of the Kingdom of Plumeria who becomes the first princess to join the New Princess Alliance to liberate Etheria from the Horde and helps Adora, Bow, and Glimmer in their adventures.
She is voiced by Genesis Rodriguez.

What Makes Her Close to Being Pure Good?[]
- She enthusiastically welcomed Adora, Bow, and Glimmer to Plumeria, giving them all flowers and showing them around the kingdom.
- She rallied and inspired her entire kingdom to stand up for themselves and fight to save their kingdom from the Horde, realizing Glimmer was right and they had to at least fight to try to save themselves.
- She rescued the Best Friends Squad (Adora, Bow, and Glimmer) from the Horde and led her kingdom in attacking the Horde encampment.
- She overran the Horde encampment with vines and flowers and forced them all to retreat.
- She thanked the trio for making her and her people realize that they should stand up and fight and agreed to join Glimmer's Princess Alliance, being the first member of the reborn alliance.
- She fought off a Horde attack with Bow where she asked him to go with her to Princess Prom. Also despite Glimmer acting like a jerk and clearly being jealous of Bow and Perfuma being together, Perfuma treated Glimmer cordially and wanted Glimmer to hang out with her and Bow.
- She came with Mermista, Entrapta, and Sea Hawk to volunteer with Adora to mount a rescue mission for Glimmer and Bow when they were captured by the Horde and imprisoned in the Fright Zone.
- She transported herself and Entrapta to the Horde Security Tower and once she saw Adora's signal and snapped Entrapta out of her eccentric obsessions so she could take out the lights of the Fright Zone. She also stopped Entrapta from getting lost in the Fright Zone and being distracted by the Horde's technology so they could regroup with Adora and Sea Hawk to infiltrate the prison.
- She took out the guards so the team could gain control of the prison control center and find Bow's cell to rescue him.
- She saved Adora from Lonnie and defeated two Horde guards.
- She saved Bow from the sealing chambers.
- She built a vine statue of Entrapta after her supposed death.
- She came back along with Mermista, Sea Hawk, and Frosta to save Bright Moon when it was under attack from the Horde.
- She aided the rest of the Princess Alliance on a mission to recover a bot for Bow to analyze, helping destroy the others and holding one bot down and transporting Bow so he could get a piece of the First Ones tech in the bot.
- She created a plant golem to breach the Horde fortress and was the first to attack to fortress, bringing in Bow and thanking Frosta for saving her.
- She helped defeat Scorpia with the rest of the Princess Alliance.
- She came with Mermista and Frosta to join Glimmer’s mission to rescue Adora from the Fright Zone.
- She stayed behind to fight off Catra’s Crimson Waste gang members so the rest of the group could move on to rescue Adora.
- She enthusiastically hugged Shadow Weaver after Shadow Weaver transported the alliance out of the Fright Zone, being the only person to have ever hugged Shadow Weaver.
- She treated Huntara very kindly and sympathized with her even though Huntara was cold and a jerk to her.
- Although she briefly got angry when Bow drenched her with water to get the cacti juice off her, she instantly felt remorse and thanked Bow for helping her.
- She convinced Adora and Huntara not to attack Huntars’s former goons and avoid confrontation and she was the first one to suspect Huntara’s contact was untrustworthy.
- She liberated Mara’s ship from the Horde and forced the Horde soldiers to retreat.
- She befriended Huntara, accepting Huntara’s apology for doubting her and gave Huntara a cacti flower tiara.
- She helped interrogate traitor suspects with Mermista and served as the voice of reason that kept Mermista from getting carried away.
- She was the only hero to sympathize with Scorpia and realize that Scorpia was telling the truth of being redeemed and stopped attacking her. Even when Scorpia (accidentally) stung her, she held no grudges against her and while she did have to restrain Scorpia with vines, she grew a flower on the vines for Scorpia.
- She was the only hero that treated Scorpia kindly and got very excited when Scorpia revealed she came to Bright Moon to learn how to be a good friend. She brought Scorpia a bowl of food and told Scorpia she was treating her nicely because Scorpia was their guest and not a prisoner like Frosta suggested before going to get pillows for their “sleepover”.
- She defeated and destroyed dozens Horde bots with Frosta in the Whispering Woods.
- She destroyed Horde drones to save Etherian refugees and escorted them to safety with the rest of the Princess Alliance.
- She convinced Adora not to go on a solo suicide mission to rescue the people of Thaymor since she wasn’t She-Ra but instead take a team.
- She fought off Horde bots when they attacked the rebel base.
- She was the one who suggested plans to find Glimmer when Adora was taking a break and was the only princess willing to talk to Entrapta (who previously betrayed them) about the plan and treat her politely unlike Frosta or Mermista.
- She tied a vine to Entrapta to prevent her from blowing the team’s cover by running off and saved Entrapta from being discovered by Horde bots.
- She saved Mermista from being killed by a Horde bot.
- She cut off the spire to prevent Horde reinforcements from coming.
- She helped create a diversion by with Micah and the other princesses so Bow, Adora, and Perfuma could leave Etheria to rescue Glimmer from Horde Prime’s ship and destroyed all the Horde bots with them.
- She comforted Scorpia when she was feeling insecure and worthless and inspired Scorpia to believe in herself and make her dream of singing a reality. She also stopped Scorpia from getting cold feet and get her to sing at the Enchanted Grotto underwater soiree.
- She imprisoned Double Trouble in vines and got Double Trouble to reveal where Adora, Bow, Entrapta, Catra, and Glimmer were.
- She saved the group from a now brainwashed Mermista and tried to stop Scorpia from staying behind to buy the group time.
- She warned the Best Friends Squad (Adora, Bow, Catra, Glimmer) and Entrapta not to come back to Etheria because Horde Prime set up a blockade as a trap and told them how the Rebellion was compromised by Horde Prime.
- She led the remainder of the Rebellion after Horde Prime brainwashed almost all of them and she led the group to take cover and regroup to form a new plan to stop Prime.
- She temporarily restrained She-Ra and her group when they came back to make sure they weren’t brainwashed by Horde Prime and once she realized they weren’t, she freed them and welcomed them back, cheerfully hugging Bow and told him how she didn’t want to be in charge anymore.
- Unlike the rest of the group, she was the only one who didn’t dismiss Netossa’s contingencies on every hero and she wanted to know her weakness.
- Unlike the other heroes, her “weakness” was not unleashing her full power due to the chance that she would hurt those she cared about which she pointed out that that could be seen as a positive quality.
- She was the only one who believed Scorpia could break free of her brainwashing and repeatedly tried to redeem Scorpia and get her to remember who she was. She saved Adora from Scorpia when Adora lost her connection to She-Ra. She told Horde Prime he was wrong about friendship being a weakness and she was successfully able to get through to Scorpia who was able to resist Prime’s brainwashing long enough to save Adora and Perfuma by destroying their restraints.
- Although she initially disliked Catra due to the way she treated Scorpia before in the Horde and her negativity in general, she ended up reconciling with Catra and hugged her, offering to work with Catra on guided meditation to get her to let go of her abandonment issues and negativity but agreed to Catra’s terms of taking one step at a time.
- She braided Frosta’s hair and complimented her on how flowers really bring out the color in her eyes.
- She along with the rest of the Rebellion (except the Best Friends Squad) went to attack the Horde army at the Spire to buy Entrapta enough time to upload her program to free Etheria from Prime’s brainwashing chips.
- She freed Mermista from Prime’s brainwashing.
- She celebrated with and hugged Scorpia, Catra, and Frosta in a group following Prime’s defeat.
What Prevents Her From Being Pure Good?[]
- She fails the in-story admirable standards specifically to Bow who has fewer resources than her and was able to free all of Etheria from brainwashing, as well as Adora/She-Ra herself.
