Ood Sigma is a minor protagonist in Doctor Who. He is an Ood who worked for Klineman Halpen, the manager of Ood Operations.

His Good Ranking[]

What Makes Him Close to Being Pure Good?[]

  • Drugged Halpen's hair tonic with Ood graft to transform him in to an Ood.
  • Leads Ten and Donna to the room containing the Ood Brain.
  • Him not helping the red-eye is justified as he couldn’t in his situation.
  • Even after turning Halpen into an Ood, still tries to look after him.
  • Helps to free Ood-kind from slavery.
  • Throughout 100 years helps, he helps Ood-kind progress into a futuristic society.
  • Comforts the Doctor as he dies.
  • Helps the Doctor on his attack on Demon’s Run.

What Prevents Him From Being Pure Good?[]

  • Him helping the Ood species progress is offscreen and while we do see the results, it’s still not explored enough to make him qualify, making his act being considered as Fridge Brilliance.

Trivia[]

  • He and Donna Noble are currently the only Doctor Who characters to be Near Pure Good.
