Obito Uchiha is the main protagonist of Naruto's Kishinpain parody video What if Tobi was...Rin? who has become Hokage and is leading Konoha on the Fourth Shinobi World War.
His Good Ranking[]
What Makes Him Close to Being Pure Good?[]
- He has the same admirable actions the Canon Obito had before meeting Madara with the exception being that he didn't get crushed by a rock while saving Rin
- He returned to Konoha and went on to become Hokage.
- Fought in the Fourth Shinobi War against Tobi/Rin and Madara.
- He destroyed the resurrected Madara for good with Amaterasu preventing the many deaths he would cause and the Infinite Tsukuyomi.
- Even though he clearly doesn't want to, he is willing to fight Tobi/Rin for the greater good.
- He saves Naruto from getting killed by Tobi/Rin.
- He knocks out Rin incapacitating her as he doesn't want to kill her like Madara.
- Tries to take down Black Zetsu; It's also briefly implied that he's aware of Zetsu's plans to bring back Kaguya.
- When Black Zetsu uses Rin as a shield, he is shocked and genuinely sad that he's accidentally stabbed Rin despite being her enemy.
- His act of accidentally stabbing Rin in the heart frees her from Zetsu's control allowing her to die being herself instead of as Tobi.
- He passes the admirable standard as he's the only heroic character in the animation as all Naruto does is kill Zetsu and Kakashi and Guy don't do anything in the animation.
- Although Kishinpain's Naruto animations are mostly comedic, this one is taken very seriously and there is nothing too comedic to distract from the reality of the situation.
What Prevents Him From Being Pure Good?[]
- He lacks sufficient characterization for Pure Good, as he has no speaking lines and his heroic actions as Hokage are offscreen and we don't know what he's done in his time as Hokage.
Trivia[]
- He is the only version of Obito Uchiha to be Near Pure Good. His original doesn't count because he became a fallen hero and was the main antagonist of most of the story.
- He is the only Naruto Near Pure Good to come from a fanon work.
