Nya is the tritagonist of the Ninjago franchise. She is the younger sister of Kai and the daughter of Ray and Maya. Originally a vigilante known as Samurai X, she would become one of Master Wu's students and unlock her true potential as the Water ninja. Tragically, she would sacrifice herself in the fourteenth season, Seabound, to save the world by becoming the embodiment of the sea. She is the archenemy of Kalmaar.

Season 1[]
- She informed Wu and the ninja that Garmadon (turned out to be his whiny son Lloyd Garmadon not the actual dark lord) had returned and was spotted approaching Jamankai village, giving Jay his nunchucks when he dropped them.
- She offered to help the ninja even though they refused and got the dragon reins for Kai for his dragon.
- She trained all on her own in the monastery’s training course.
- She discovered that the Serpentine had been released by Lloyd and that Jamankai village had been hypnotized, telling the ninja how to avoid Serpentine brainwashing and having them go get the Serpentine staff from the leader that contained the antivenin necessary to free the people from brainwashing.
- She saved Cole from Skales and freed the people of Jamankai village from Serpentine brainwashing by having Cole place the antivenin staff at the fountain to create a mist breaking the brainwashing of the people.
- She came with Sensei Wu aboard the Fire Dragon to rescue the ninja from Lloyd’s collapsing treehouse.

- Although she hid her identity as Samurai X, she remorsefully revealed her identity to Kai once he saw her and told him how she became Samurai X because the ninja were always a boy’s club and they never let her try to help so she had to become a hero on her own and had him promise not to tell the others before giving him the golden weapons to take back to the other ninja.
- She added herself to the weights to help Cole reach his true physical potential and posted missing Fangblade flyers with the ninja in Jamanakai village.
- She discovered that Fangpyre venom could be reversed without antivenin but just by raising the infected’s heart rate, presenting her findings to the ninja even though they (except Zane of course) weren’t listening. She also didn’t get angry when she thought Jay wore perfume, which she was allergic to, as a cruel joke and told him it was fine, and agreed to go out with him once she learned he was just wearing perfume to impress her.
- She didn’t get angry with Jay insulting Samurai X (herself) during the date at and just let it slide before reluctantly leaving the date to go save the Mega Monster amusement park when Jay was taking too long in the bathroom.
- She got the Fangpyre blade from Pythor and led the Serpentine on a chase before eventually getting captured and her identity being revealed to the villains and getting tied to a roller coaster.
- She told Jay that he didn’t need to lie about or hide who he was to impress her as she liked him just the way he was, kissing him which cured him of the Fangpyre venom by raising his heart rate and allowed him to unlock his true potential to free both of them from the doomed roller coaster.
- She revealed her identity to the rest of the ninja and she would help the ninja on numerous mission while she was samurai X.
- She oversaw Zane, Cole, and Jay’s training and complimented them on how their powers were getting stronger.
- She was the only person who didn’t complain when Sensei Wu brought Garmadon aboard to help them find Lloyd and tried to get Kai to understand Wu’s point of view since Garmadon was still his brother and Wu still greatly cared for Garmadon despite their opposing alignments on the good vs. evil spectrum.
- Although Sensei Wu offered her the chance to stand in front of the golden weapons to see if she was the destined Green Ninja, she decided not to, seeing how obsessed Kai had become in trying to be the Green Ninja and being happy to just be a samurai and her own hero.
- She broke up a fight between Kai and Garmadon and wasn’t angry at Kai when Garmadon revealed Kai was spying on her in her meeting with Wu to see if she was the Green Ninja.
- She helped Garmadon up after a paranoid Kai attacked him and expressed sympathy for him.
- She informed the team that the third Fangblade was in the Fire Temple and warned them especially Kai, not to use their weapons as the volcano where the temple was located was unstable and the slightest rupture could make it go off.
- She gave the golden weapons to Lloyd with the other ninja to show that he was the destined Green Ninja.
- She revealed to everyone via a sonar sweep that the Serpentine were hiding the three Fanglbades in an underground fortress and set course for the Bounty to go there.

- She gave the Ultra-Dragon its medicine and taught Lloyd about the dragon and it was destined to be his dragon one day once he became the Green Ninja.
- She saved the ninja from Captain Soto and his pirates and single handedly defeated them all.
- She invited Lloyd to come by the auto boy shop where she was working to show him the upgraded Ultra Sonic Raider and gave a letter for Lloyd to Wu inviting the ninja and Wu back to Lloyd’s reformed school the Darkley School for Great Children.
- She informed the ninja that they could save Darreth’s dojo by entering the Ninjaball Run race and told them about a powerful upgrade she added to the Ultra Sonic Raider they could use when they were in trouble during the race.
- She informed the ninja that Garmadon broke into Ninjago museum and comforted Lloyd when he still had to stay behind by telling him to show her his moves from his training.
- She looked for the missing ninja with Wu and upon discovering from Lloyd that the ninja were turned into kids and Garmadon revived a dinosaur called the Grundal to kill the ninja, she went to Misako with Wu to get Tomorrow’s tea to bring it to them to age them back although Lloyd sacrificed his childhood in the process to use the tea to save the ninja and kill the Grundal.
- She informed the ninja about strange happenings occurring in the Ninjago museum and set course for it on the Bounty.
- She evacuated the people of Ninjago City, the ninja, Wu, and Misako, piloting the Bounty to safety and dropping the people at the evacuation point before sailing to the Dark Island with the heroes to stop the final battle and defeat Garmadon and the Overlord.
- She helped Zane up and sympathized with him after his falcon friend was destroyed by the Stone Army on a reconnaissance mission.
- She fixed the Bounty with the others using Zane’s long-lost father Julien’s help and piloted the Bounty to escape from the Leviathan.
- She created the Earth Driller vehicle for the ninja with the help of Julien and created/packed the Fire Mech in the driller as a present for the ninja, kissing Jay goodbye before the ninja left for the Temple of Light to unlock their elemental powers and Lloyd’s golden power.

Season 3[]
- She became a teacher at Darkley’s School for Great Children after Wu took it over, informing the team that they got clearance for a field trip to Borg Industries, the company behind the technological advancement in Ninjago City, now known as New Ninjago City, and drove everyone there via bus.
- She saved the students from the Overlord’s evil robots and evacuated them out of Ninjago City.
- She gave Lloyd his techno robes at his redeemed father’s monastery from Borg and convinced him to put it on, reminding Lloyd that the Overlord was on the hunt for his golden power and they had to lay low.
- She with the other heroes fought off Nindroids when they attacked the monastery and she led the heroes to escape.
- She reminded Lloyd not to use his golden power against the Nindroids as it only strengthened them.
- She had Lloyd and Garmadon go to her Samurai X cave to take what they need and get as far away from the Overlord as possible while she formed a plan to have her and the other ninja shut down the power to defeat the Overlord and the Ninidroids and save Ninjago.
- She comforted Cole, telling him that while the other ninja may get all the attention, he was still a good guy and didn’t get the credit he deserved.
- She comforted Zane after P.I.X.A.L’s death due to them shutting down the power to defeat the Overlord and the Nindroids.
- She revived P.I.X.A.L. by taking half of Zane’s heart at his request to power her.
- She tried to comfort Jay after P.I.X.A.L accidentally revealed that Cole was her “perfect match” according to the perfect match compatibility test.
- She saved Jay and Cole from being crushed to death.
- She stopped Jay and Cole from fighting over her.
- She sent a message to Lloyd and Garmadon informing them about the mysterious individual that brainwashed Wu and revived the Nindroids and the Overlord, telling them how the individual left a scale proving they were Serpentine and that Lloyd and Garmadon had to keep moving.
- She saved the ninja and the Serpentine from the Nindroids by shutting them down and tried to convince the Serpentine to help them find Lloyd and stop the Overlord.
- She told the Ninjago mob of people to go stop the Nindroids to protect the power of Borg Tower and later went down herself, giving Pythor and the Nindroids a chance to surrender before fighting them when they refused.
- She hugged Kai and congratulated the ninja when they purged the Overlord from the Digiverse.
- She apologized for her beeping communicator whilst in a movie theater to the robot usher and after the movie, she refused to choose between Cole and Jay as her boyfriend, instead saying how she liked the best qualities of both of them.
- She realized the Overlord was looking for the golden weapons in space and contacted the ninja while they were in space so she, Wu, Garmadon, and P.I.X.A.L could serve as mission control.
- She informed Wu, Garmadon, and P.I.X.A.L that Pythor and the Nindroids were coming and held them off long enough for P.I.X.A.L to acquire a jet to rescue them all.
- She went to confront the Overlord with the ninja, P.I.X.A.L., Wu, and Garmadon and she saved Mystake from Nindroids.
- She escaped from General Cryptor and saved the heroes and the Temple of Fortitude from the Nindroids so the ninja and senseis could go stop the Overlord.
- She attended Zane’s funeral and honored him after he sacrificed himself to kill the Overlord once and for all and save Ninjago.
Season 4[]
- She repaired the Destiny’s Bounty with the help of Wu and invited Garmadon to join them.
- She created the mobile base D.B Express and used it to search for the ninja and Garmadon who had mysteriously disappeared, discovering Zane’s beacon emitting from a faraway island and went to pursue after informing Wu.
- She took Darreth with her to prevent him from blowing her cover and discovered Master Chen was running a criminal empire and owned the mysterious island, infiltrating it with Darreth.
- She disguised herself as one of Chen’s Kabuki servants to infiltrated Chen’s palace and find the ninja and Garmadon, revealing herself to them and complimenting Jay (and Cole) for being willing to lose to save the other as it was big of them both. She also revealed to the heroes that one member of the Elemental Alliance was a spy which is how Chen was able to sabotage their efforts.
- She stole Clouse’s transformation spell and escaped from Chen and his forces when her cover was blown.
- She left a trail of fake footprints to mislead the Elemental Masters Chen sent to hunt her down while leaving her Samurai X symbol for the ninja and Garmadon to follow.
- She was horrified when Clouse and Chen’s forces captured the Elemental Master Shade even though he was hunting her down and realized this “round” of the competition wasn’t about hunting her but capturing all the remaining Elemental Masters.
- She warned Lloyd and Garmadon that Chen and his army are going to turn themselves into Anacondrai using Clouse’s transformation spell.
- She transported Lloyd and Garmadon to infiltrate Chen’s palace and stayed behind to hold off Chen’s forces.
- She tried to reason with Kai after believing he turned evil and was helping Chen, but was relieved once he revealed to her it was an act.
- She reunited with and hugged Zane and battled Chen’s forces with the Elemental Masters.
- She comforted Kai after Skylor went missing after Chen and his forces were seemingly defeated.
- She updated Wu and Misako on the events that had happened so far and went looking for Skylor with the others. once they learned Skylor could be used to complete Clouse’s spell.
- She captured Eyezor and Zugu, bringing them back to the captured palace and sealing the palace gates after Chen successfully completed the Anacondrai spell and turned his followers into Anacondrai.
- She equipped the Elemental Masters with communicators and informed them Chen sent 20 trucks were coming their way to attack Ninjago City.
- She readied the Bounty and regrouped with the Elemental Masters to inform them of how Chen had already taken over the entire Eastern seaboard and was moving in fast.
- She piloted the Bounty while helping fight off Chen’s forces during the final battle.
- She honored Garmadon after his sacrifice with the ninja, Wu, and Misako.
Season 5[]
- She helped Sensei Wu start and manage his teas shop Steep Wisdom and convinced him that they needed to get customers now.
- She saved Wu from Morro possessed Lloyd and got Wu’s staff from Wu before piloting the Bounty so they and the ninja could escape, apologizing to Kai for not going back to save Lloyd as they couldn’t stop Morro today.
- She disarmed Morro and fought him with Cole and Jay.
- She began her training as the Water Ninja with Wu after he revealed that she inherited abilities from her mother who was the previous Elemental Master of Water.
- She subconsciously used her water powers to defeat Morro’s forces and saved herself and Ronin.
- She comforted Cole after he became a ghost by staying Yang’s temple for too long and inspired him to keep on going.
- She dropped the ninja off to go to the Cloud Kingdom to get the Sword of Sanctuary.
- She helped interrogate Ghoultar the ghost.
- She piloted the Bounty before fighting an escaped Ghoultar and thanked Ronin for saving her from ghosts but reminded him to pilot the Bounty.
- She confronted Ronin when she realized he was about to betray the team to get the Sword of Sanctuary to Morro in exchange for his soul, warning the team when he beat her, and trying to reason with him when confronting him again, correctly pointing out Morro would never honor his side of the deal.
- She held off Morro’s allies by using her water powers and freed Misako from being possessed by Bansha and informed Wu and Misako the ninja had returned with Lloyd although Morro got the Realm Crystal to free the Preeminent.
- She led the ninja into the final battle against Morro and the Preeminent despite her previous insecurities, disguising herself as Lloyd to trick Morro into confronting her and abandoning the Realm Crystal so Lloyd could get and destroy it to prevent the Preeminent from crossing into Ninjago.
- She saved the ninja from ghosts and ordered them back to the ship to protect the people as Lloyd failed to destroy the Realm Crystal.
- She saved all 16 realms from the Preeminent.
Season 6 and Day of the Departed[]
- She thanked Jay for using his airjitzu to help her escape shen the ninja were framed by the djinn Nadakhan and explained what a djinn was to the team.
- She created a pair of motorcycles to look for Nadakhan with Kai, before confronting and fighting Ronin when they realized he captured Lloyd and Zane to get the bounty on the ninja.
- She was polite to Captain Soto despite him being a jerk and used her water powers to get the ninja and Soto to escape Kryptarium prison through the sewer pipes.
- She infiltrated the police department and she discovered location of the Destiny’s Bounty and Nadakhan’s ship that contained the map of Tiger Widow venom that Soto revealed to the ninja was the only thing that could defeat Nadakhan.
- She made peace with Jay over Jay still harboring some feelings for her and resolved to be friends no matter what.
- She went to look for Jay when he disappeared and promised to keep Jay’s “secret hideout” (really his late birth father Cliff Gordon’s mansion which Jay discovered from Nadakhan) a secret from the others.
- She piloted Cliff Gordon’s yacht to the island containing the Tiger Widow’s venom and warned the group that a maelstrom was up ahead in order to prepare for it.
- She had Jay go to get the Tiger Widow’s venom after Cole revealed Jay had seen Nadakhan and lied to the rest of the group.
- She fought Dogshank and protected Jay from Nadakhan and the rest of his group, switching Jay’s canteen of the venom for a decoy to trick Nadakhan when he captured Jay, revealing to Lloyd and Cole she had the real venom and promising Jay they would rescue him.
- She felt remorse for getting angry at Jay for lying about seeing Nadakhan and trying to wish them to fall in love even though her anger was justified and was incredibly worried about him since he was captured by Nadakhan.
- She helped create a raft with Cole and Lloyd to get off the island via the help of the police commissioner and Ronin’s helicopter to go rescue him.
- She infiltrated Nadakhan’s makeshift island Djinjago by piloting a disguised pirate ship to rescue Jay and defeat Nadakhan.
- She fought Nadakhan’s forces with the others and motivated Jay to take her hand so they could create an elemental dragon to escape after Lloyd and Cole sacrificed themselves to hold Nadakhan off.
- She discovered a makeshift Zane called Echo Zane in Julien’s lighthouse where they were hiding out and convinced him to help her and Jay. She would then have them all create defenses for the lighthouse when Nadakhan’s forces were coming.
- She defeated Dogshank and several of Nadakhan’s forces.
- She confessed her feelings for Jay before pushing him into the Traveler's tea portal to escape and fighting off Nadakhan’s forces before eventually being captured.
- She distracted Nadakhan and convinced him to leave behind the Sword of Souls for their wedding so Jay could get the sword to free the ninja, Wu, and Misako.
- She tried to stall Nadakhan so the ninja could rescue her and defeat him and after being hit with the poison alongside Nadakhan, she told Jay to wish Nadakhan mortal to defeat him once and for all even though it would result in her death.
- After Jay used his last wish to reverse the timeline and make Nya take his hand so the events of the season wouldn’t happen, she told Jay she remembered everything and kissed him, beginning their relationship together.
- She saved Kai from Master Chen and defeated him with Kai.
- She complimented Cole on how he looked good as new after redeeming Master Yang and becoming human once again.
Season 7[]
- She helped clean up the museum after the Day of the Departed and cheered Kai up by telling him their parents didn’t just leave them with barely anything, but left them with their powers.
- She piloted the Bounty to go to the old monastery and helped fight off Acronix with the others.
- She and Jay defeated the Vermillion Warriors attacking Borg’s event.
- She repaired Zane after he was shut down by Acronix and discovered that Dr. Saunders was his long-lost brother Krux and evil all along.
- She defeated Krux at the museum.
- She rescued Zane from the Vermillion Warriors.
- She defeated the Vermillion Warriors using Zane’s magnetic ability and she restored power to Ninjago.
- She helped save the Mega-Monster Amusement Park from the Vermillion Warriors and discovered the location of the next Time Blade.
- Although she was initially angry at the mysterious individual who stole her Samurai X suit, she reconciled with the new Samurai X and gave them access to everything in her Samurai X cave, telling them it was all theirs now.
- She defended their parents to Kai when Kai revealed to her that they were alive and creating Vermillion Warrior armor, pointing out to Kai they have no real proof they were evil and their could be another explanation.
- She and Kai discovered the location of their parent’s blacksmith shop, and she stopped Kai from attacking their father even if their father may be a traitor and told Kai to hear him out.
- She reunited with and hugged her mom, learning from her/Kai’s parents that Acronix and Krux sought to control all of time and forced them and Cryus Borg to build a time machine with the time blades to power it. She realized that Acronix and Krux got the third time blade before they all got captured.
- She pointed out to Kai that they needed the fourth time blade to save Master Wu even if Acronix and Krux were also forcing them to get it.
- She created the Fusion Dragon with Kai to get the Reversal Blade from the Boiling Sea.
- She and Kai saved Wu and her parents from falling to their deaths by creating the Fusion Dragon after Acronix and Krux betrayed the deal and infiltrated to the Iron Doom with Kai to save Wu.
- She hid Wu away somewhere safe when they all arrived in the past.
- She saved a past Wu from the Vermillion Warriors with Kai.
- She got the Reversal blade and cured Wu of the Time Punch and reversed time with him and Kai so they could all get onto the Iron Doom and stop Acronix and Krux.
- She fought Acronix and Krux with Wu and Kai and saved Kai from Krux.
- She hugged her dad after Kai cured him of the Time Punch and reunited with the rest of the group before they all nominated Lloyd to be their new master after Wu stranded himself in time to defeat Acronix and Krux, starting their mission to find Wu.
Season 8[]
- She liberated slaves and captured their evil masters.
- She acted as security with the rest of the ninja during the Emperor of Ninjago’s speech and informed the group that the attack was just a false alarm.
- She was the only one who gave Lloyd good advice about trying to be in a relationship with Harumi, telling him to be himself.
- She fought the Sons of Garmadon with the others when they attacked but sadly informed Princess Harumi afterwards that the Emperor and Empress were killed in the attack.
- She protected Princess Harumi while the other ninja went to interrogate an imprisoned member of the Sons of Garmadon.
- She created a motorbike for Zane to help him infiltrate the Sons of Garmadon.
- She used her powers to achieve a controlled crash and prevent the Bounty from being destroyed after the Sons of Garmadon shot it down.
- She found the Samurai X suit but gave it to P.IX.A.L, saying it was hers now after P.IX.A.L revealed she was the new Samurai X all along and informed the team that Lloyd and Rumi were ok as they left a note stating they were going to find the third Oni mask at the Oni temple.
- She revealed that Master Wu was a baby because he touched the Reversal blade back when she, Kai, and Wu were facing Acronix and Krux and discovered/revealed that Harumi was the Quiet One.
- She got baby Wu to get the keys to the ninja’s chains and fought the Sons of Garmadon with the rest of the ninja.
- She convinced the Police Commissioner to bring his entire force to help the ninja stop Harumi from resurrecting Garmadon.
- She defeated Ultra Violet and saved Misako and Lloyd from Harumi’s trap with Cole.
- She celebrated with the ninja after Harumi’s seeming defeat but had Misako take baby Wu somewhere safe when evil Garmadon was revealed to have been revived and broke Harumi out of prison.
- She piloted the Bounty to Kryptarium Prison but begged Lloyd not to confront Garmadon alone and try to redeem him, pointing out the Police Commissioner said there was nothing left in Garmadon to be reasoned with.
- She used her elemental powers with the other ninja to revive Lloyd and stayed behind to watch over Lloyd while the others go face Garmadon’s Colossus.
- She comforted Lloyd when he woke but lost his elemental power and supported him to get to Wu, giving Wu to him to go while she and Misako held off Garmadon.
- She used her powers to blast Garmadon away and save Misako.
Season 9[]
- She trained Lloyd and comforted Lloyd about losing his powers and the other ninja, celebrating with him when they discovered that the other ninja and Wu were alive but in the First Realm, and reminded Lloyd they weren’t alone after the Elemental Masters saved them.
- She upped the armor and firepower of the Resistance due to them being outnumbered and constructed the Battle Wagon as the key vehicle and weapon for the Resistance against Garmadon.
- She fought the Sons of Garmadon when they ambushed the Resistance’s base and saved Neuro from them.
- She took Lloyd to the Battle Wagon and used it to save Skylor from Harumi and get them all and Darreth to safety.
- She hid the Battle Wagon and convinced Lloyd to destroy his Green Ninja suit as they had to lay low now that Garmadon was on the hunt for them and most of the Resistance was captured, reminding him it wasn’t the suit that made him the Green Ninja but what was inside of him.
- She helped capture Harumi and watch over her.
- She held off Ultra Violet so Lloyd and Darreth could carry an unconscious Skylor and get to the Battle Wagon before fighting the Sons of Garmadon with them once they returned.
- She reunited with and hugged the other ninja when they returned from the First Realm and helped take down the Colossus with them.
- She reunited and hugged Lloyd with the others after he defeated Garmadon, pointing out how his power had returned and helped clean up the destruction before going out when Wu show them the city’s celebration for them and she called up Skylor, Darreth, and P.I.X.A.L to stand with them for they were part of the team too.
Season 10[]
- She politely assured (or rather lied) to Darreth that he was in the new paintings Wi created of the ninja’s battles on the monastery.
- She evacuated numerous civilians and the police force on the Bounty when the Oni darkness started spreading throughout Ninjago.
- She used the Bounty to rescue Gayle Gossip and her news crew from the Oni darkness and blamed herself when Cole accidentally fell into the Oni cloud due to the Bounty’s rope breaking.
- She saved P.I.X.A.L, Lloyd, and Garmadon from falling to their deaths and came up with a plan to have Kai reforge the Golden Armor into the Golden Weapons so the ninja could fight the Oni, encouraging Kai that he could do it and helping him reforge the weapons.
- She fought the Oni with the others during the final battle and once Cole revealed himself to be alive, she gave him the Scythe of Quakes to use.
- She along with the other ninja, Wu, and Garmadon joined with Lloyd to create the Tornado of Creation to defeat the Oni and save the realms once and for all.
Season 11[]
- Although she had become out of shape and complacent like the other ninja as Wu pointed out, she realized that Wu was right and came up with ideas to catch criminals and get the ninja back in shape.
- She tried to contact P.I.X.A.L and Wu after she and the ninja got lost in the desert in their quest to the pyramid after they were attacked by a dangerous beetle called the Beohernie.
- She was able to contact Zane when he was ready to get out after infiltrating the Beohernie to get a key engine component so the Land Bounty got damaged and informed the ninja so they could all get him out.
- She piloted the fixed Land Bounty to escape the Beohernie.
- She got the ninja out of the pyramid when Aspheera was released and flooded the pyramid with lava, saving the ninja countless times until they eventually got out and were rescued by P.I.X.A.L.
- She saved the police with the other ninja once returning to Ninjago City, harnessing water from a fire hydrant to kill several of Aspheera’s mindless fire snakes.
- She figured out that the scroll Aspheera was looking for was in another exhibit in the museum and led the ninja there.
- She distracted Aspheera and her forces so Lloyd could try and get the scroll from Aspheera.
- She led Lloyd and Zane in infiltrating the Explorer’s Club and she stole the Second Scroll of Forbidden Spinjitzu from them solely because it was the only way to stop Aspheera.
- She saved the other ninja, Wu, and P.IX.A.L with Lloyd and Zane to confront Aspheera for the final time.
- She went with the ninja to the Never-Realm to rescue Zane after Aspheera banished him there and led the ninja out when the Land Bounty fell off a cliff, tracking the mech that went with Zane to the realm.
- She helped fight off the Ice Emperor's forces with the other ninja to defend the village.
- She was put in charge of defending the village after Lloyd left to find Zane and went with Jay to find Cole when he went to the Traveler's Tree to find Traveler's Tea leaves.
- She apologized to Krag for attacking him when she and Jay thought he kidnapped Cole.
- She scared off evil ice wolves to save the group and restarted the Land Bounty to pilot it to the Ice Castle to rescue Lloyd and Zane.
- She figured out Zane was the Ice Emperor and unlocked her power to control the frozen water in ice to fight the Ice Dragon to defeat it with Kai.
- She reunited with Lloyd and Zane and returned back to Ninjago with the rest of the ninja to happily reunite with Wu and P.I.X.A.L.
Season 12[]
- She helped arrest the Mechanic and convinced the ninja that they should go to the Mechanic's old lair, which was an arcade, to find out why the Mechanic stole a mysterious motherboard.
- She kept the ninja focused when they were distracted by the Prime Empire video game and had them all spread out to look for clues.
- She helped take down Milton Dyer's security system with the other ninja and fought off the Mechanic and his forces so Cole could get them into the game to rescue Jay and all the other players trapped inside.
- She reunited with Jay in the Prime Empire game and stopped Cole, Kai, and Jay from fighting about Jay’s fanclub known as the League of Jay and instead focus on escaping the video game by getting the three keys known as Keytanas.
- She politely greeted the NPC Okino on behalf of the ninja, telling him it would be an honor for him to lead the ninja to the first Keytana and chastised Kai for asking hm how many masters he had failed before.
- She hacked one of Unagami’s Red visor henchman to reveal that Unagami was building a portal to the real world to attack Ninjago and thanked Okino for helping them get the first Keytana.
- She won the Terra Technica Dance-Off with Jay to get enough credits so the ninja could compete in the Speedway Five-Billion Race to get the second Keytana and vowed with them to free Cole and Kai who lost their final lives and were cubed by Unagami.
- She got the Airjitzu power up to take Lloyd and Jay to the top of Unagami’s temple to get the final Keytana.
- She defeated the evil sushi chef servants of Unagami but sacrificed herself to take a shot meant for Jay so he could advance to the final level to face Unagami.
- She reunited with Jay, the other ninja, P.I.X.A.L, and Wu after Unagami redeemed himself and released everyone from the game.
Season 13[]
- She warned Jay not to use his powers as a shortcut to get out of doing chores albeit to no avail.
- She politely greeted King Vangelis and Princess Vania with the others upon arriving at Shintaro.
- She told Vania that it was ok when she felt that Cole getting trapped in the dungeons was her fault and told her that it was best that she stays at the castle so she wouldn’t get into more trouble with her father after she showed them the way to the mountain/dungeons against her father’s orders so the ninja could rescue Cole.
- She figured out that the Skull Sorcerer stole both blades from the Geckle and Munce to frame each other so they could be easily conquered and got everyone to escape by having the ninja throw glop onto the Skull Sorcerer’s forces so she could release the rhinos to attack the skeletons to eat the glop, buying enough time for everyone to escape.
- She found out the way to the Munce kingdom (since Murt and the freed Munce couldn’t remember the way) and led the Munce, Lloyd, and Jay there.
- After becoming Munce Queen, she convinced them to have a peace meeting with the Geckles and reunited with Kai and Zane at the meeting.
- She had herself along with some Geckles and Munce cut through the chain of the Strong Cave to close it to seal themselves from the Skull Sorcerer and his forces after they ambushed the peace meeting.
- She formally declared peace with the Geckle as queen after the two races reconciled on their own but agreed to Lloyd’s surrender to the Skull Sorcerer to spare the Geckles and Munce lives.
- She and the rest of the ninja joined the battle with the Geckle, Munce, and Cole’s crew against the Skull Sorcerer’s forces after being freed by Plundar who was a group of adventurers Cole met while under the mountain.
The Island[]
- She went with the ninja to rescue Clutch Powers, Wu, and Misako after they went missing in their expedition to an uncharted island past the instablestorm belt, finding the only man who survived the storm belt, Timothy Batterson to convince him to help them.
- She narrowed her catamaran to save herself, Lloyd, and Timothy from the rock arch and protected Timothy a couple of times before they reached the island.
- She instantly bonded with the island dragon the ninja nicknamed Zippy, playing with him, and reluctantly at Lloyd’s assistance bidding him farewell so they could focus on rescuing the expedition.
- She reunited with Wu and Misako after getting imprisoned by the Keepers of the amulet.
- She tried to convince Clutch Powers not to steal the amulet as he (correctly) knew the Keepers wouldn’t be pleased.
- She with the rest of the ninja realized that the Keepers of the Island were being conned by a fake Wojira and helped stop the operation, which was by Ronin all along, and free Jay. She also saved Timothy after he stopped Ronin from escaping and complimented him by telling him what he did was very brave.
- She caught Clutch Powers stealing the amulet and gave it back to the Keepers before leaving.
Season 14[]
- She tried to stop a criminal meetup but helped evacuate the village when her powers accidentally went out of control and created a water tornado.
- She tearfully apologized to the team for getting angry at them when they mentioned her failing powers and went on a deep sea expedition with P.I.X.A.L, Zane, Lloyd, and Jay to find the source of the energy signal that was messing with her powers.
- She went with her mom (who stowed away on the Hydro Bounty) in mech suits to find the energy signal after the Hydro Bounty’s battery died and discovered the Temple of Wojira where Kalmaar and his forces were trying to awaken Wojira which was causing the energy signal.
- She fought off Kalmaar’s forces and protected her mom before they got captured.
- She freed herself and her mom to escape from Kalmaar and warn the others.
- Upon the whole team being taken to Kalmaar’s father, King Trimaar, she revealed to Trimaar how Kalmaar kidnapped them, sunk human ships, and was trying to awaken Wojira and was horrified when Kalmaar murdered his father in front of them.
- She apologized Trimaar’s adoptive (and heroic) son Benthomaar for his father’s loss and after he helped them escape Kalmaar and told them of Kalmaar’s plan to ger them two amulets needed to awaken Wojira to wipe out humanity, she assured him he wasn’t alone as he had her and the ninja as his friends.
- She went to the Keeper’s island and convinced the Chieftain to give them the amulet to avoid Kalmaar’s wrath and once Zane revealed the amulet was a fake, she realized Clutch stole it and informed Cole back at the monastery to get it.
- She tried to stop Kalmaar after he ambushed them and destroyed the ships controls to strand them and at Bentho’s insistence, she unlocked her power to summon whales to carry them back to Ninjago to stop Kalmaar.
- She saved the other ninja and her father from Kalmaar and went to stop Kalmaar herself and following that, she offered Bentho to stay at the monastery which he happily agreed to.
- She fully and tearfully reconciled with her mother and hugged her before bidding her farewell.
- She learned from Kalmaar’s defected assistant that Kalmaar tricked her and still had the real amulet which he used to awaken Wojira and saved Darreth from Kalmaar and Wojira when he flooded and attacked Ninjago City.
- She saved Jay from Kalmaar and Wojira before facing Kalmaar.
- She sacrificed herself and merged with the sea to save Ninjago from Kalmaar and Wojira.
What Prevents Her From Being Pure Good?[]
- She can be a little hot tempered sometimes and let her anger get the best of her (in fact Master Wu pointed out in-universe that her temper was her greatest weakness). This is especially apparent in Season 6 when she tries to attack Dareth for excluding her in his movies with the ninja or when she refused to take Jay’s hand so the ninja wouldn’t be spotted by crazy fans and be prevented from stopping Clouse because she suspected Jay was hiding his feelings for her which led to the events of Season 6 as it allowed Clouse to free Nadakhan and although this gets reversed, it was because of Jay’s wish. It's also worth noting that while Nya did feel bad for the way she treated him, she never apologized for it.
- She occasionally taunts and insults her enemies especially Kalmaar, purposefully calling him Calamari to mock him.
- She can be arrogant in her abilities occasionally.
