What Prevents Him From Being Pure Good?[]

- He punched Batman after quitting being Batman's sidekick, although he was understandably mad because he didn't tell him about Barbara's secret identity and put her in danger, making it a minor prevention.
- Although he is less standoffish than Bruce, he can sometimes be a bit jerkish and arrogant, especially towards Barbara (even after breaking up with her), examples include:
- Criticizing her for letting Catwoman escape, despite Batgirl telling him Catwoman didn't steal the Jade Cat statue in "Batgirl Returns".
- Got mad at her when she saved him from two thugs, thinking he could handle them himself in "You Scratch My Back".
- Telling her not to get her hopes up about getting back together with him in "Chemistry".
