Tough to Discuss but Not Impossible
Some may be keepers but may have a lot more tricker to deal with than normal.
- Adalmann from That Time I Got Reincarnated as a Slime
- Benimaru from That Time I Got Reincarnated as a Slime: His lethality and wrathful traits will tricky to argue as not too preventing.
- Birdperson from Rick and Morty
- Gazel Dwargo from That Time I Got Reincarnated as a Slime: His cold and harsh demeanor may be tricky to argue as not too preventing.
- Hakarou from That Time I Got Reincarnated as a Slime: His lethality and harsh training methods may be tricky to argue as not too preventing.
- Ira Gamagōri from Kill la Kill
- Jean Kirstein from Attack on Titan: Subverts most of his corrupting traits, though he does have some questionable moments post-timeskip.
- Jean Pierre Polnareff from JoJo's Bizarre Adventure
- Jezebel Mephistopheles from Saints Row: Gat out of Hell: Lacks corrupting qualities but fails the Saints Row AS, though she may not fail too hard thanks to her role in stopping Satan.
- Michael Afton from Five Nights at Freddy’s: Most of his admirable deeds are purely speculative or rely on Fringe Brilliance. For him to qualify as PG, there would need to be more definitive proof or a strong case for him having more agency.
- Nemu from That Time I Got Reincarnated as a Slime: Trinity of Tempest
- Noodle Neck from Triangle vs. Monkey
- Obera from That Time I Got Reincarnated as a Slime
- Phobio from That Time I Got Reincarnated as a Slime
- Piper Wright from Fallout 4: Fails the admirable standard but might stand out for the many criminals stopped thanks to her newspaper.
- Red Blood Cell (AE3803) from Cells at Work.
- Sailor Saturn from Sailor Moon
- Sailor Star Fighter from Sailor Moon
- Sailor Star Healer from Sailor Moon
- Sailor Star Maker from Sailor Moon
- Sailor Galaxia from Sailor Moon (90's Anime): Unlike her Manga & Crystal versions she was pure of heart and only was corrupted into villainy by Chaos making her too unintentionally heinous to be too corrupting but tricky to argue if sealing Chaos and returning Star Seeds is not too Fridge Brilliance reliant to stand out.
- Suphia from That Time I Got Reincarnated as a Slime
- Veldora Tempest from That Time I Got Reincarnated as a Slime: Could be argued he reformed his biggest corrupting qualities despite being a Non-Villain Inconsistently Heinous.
- Watari from Death Note
- Waver Velvet from Fate/Zero
- White Blood Cell (U-1146) from Cells at Work.
- Youm Farmenas from That Time I Got Reincarnated as a Slime: His reluctance can be argued as not actually being a Hero by Proxy.
Reproposal Needed
- Marie Moreau - Initially rejected for having too many preventions, many of which she has since subverted. She is also set to return in The Boys final season, where she may become more admirable.
Removal Needed
These heroes have been approved in NPG discussions; however, they have been reevaluated by the NPG community on the wiki and discord server and have been deemed worth removing.
Anyone is free to remove a hero from this list if they are whitelisted and familiar with the work of origin. Be sure to ask permission from an admin before making a removal though. Click here to see a list of candidates deemed worth proposing for Pure Good or otherwise lacking in preventions.
Too Inconsistent
- Gwen from Total Drama - Shoves her boyfriend into shark-infested waters from a cliff which is too corrupting.
- Hat Kid and Bow Kid from A Hat In Time - Never showing any remorse for aiding in the Fox Spirits committing a mass suicide by burning paintings containing living people is too corrupting, and while they undo it, they weren't intending to undo it.
- Nathalie Sancoeur from Miraculous - Didn't show remorse for her murders as a villain.
- Joseph Korso - Spends most of the film as a villain, who is willing to let humanity die to help himself.
Not Admirable Enough
- Chell from Portal- Fails the overall admirable standards due to it being confirmed the Portal series take place in the Half-Life universe thus she fails massively, as her goal is solely to escape the Aperture Science facility rather than saving lives like every other major character.
- Lucinia Porter from Meta Runner
Combination of both
- TBA
Wait and See
- Zoé Lee/Vesperia from Miraculous - Becomes a violent vigilante known as Fury in Season 6
- Hughie Campbell from The Boys (TV Series) - Although he qualifies as of now, the final season doesn’t air until April, and he may gain or shed corrupting qualities.
