Near Pure Good Hero Wiki

This page is for heroes that are not even close to the Pure Good criteria, and they are recognized by these three aspects of the good spectrum.

Outside of Pure Good, the other three categories that are not listed as Near Pure Good are as follows.

Standard Good: Heroes who have been too standard to qualify and sometimes are not even on the high end of Standard. They are seen to be very generic and typical with what they do. This spot is often reserved for the hero's sidekicks and minor heroes if they aren't flawed embraced good, generic love interests, family members of the hero, and other characters that fail to reach the admirable standard.

Conflicting Good: Heroes or just simply characters who are too controversial to be fully deemed as heinous or admirable.

Some Combination: Heroes who are both standard or flawed embraced.

Conflicting Good

  • Ember (Spyro): Did literally nothing admirable or heinous in Spyro.
  • Jerry Anderson: His methods in deciding to cut Ellie's brain the moment he found her has brought a lot of question into if he knew what he was doing or not, as the time of his education before the infection may have evidence on him not being as professional of a surgeon as the Fireflies thought he was.
  • Joel Miller: There has been a lot of controversy on Joel's decision in killing some of the Firefly members in The Last of Us, especially given how their surgeon Jerry Anderson quickly decided that cutting Ellie's brain was the best idea for a cure on the day he found her.
  • Liz Toomes: Outside being a nice girl that was Peter's love interest in Homecoming, she's generic and doesn't come close to the admirable standard.
  • Wheezy: Has nothing of admiral value to the table.

Some Combination

  • Fu (Fullmetal Alchemist): His sacrifice is not enough to put him in-story standard. He's also too lethal and rude at times.

  • Harold Monroe: Even though Cannibal Holocaust set an extremely vile and heinous standard for a hero to easily stand out on, Herold was only written to be a normal person like how a real life Hero would be with his one heroic action only stopping a evil snuff filmed documentary from being shown to the public.
  • Hodoka Morishima: Is too heinous and fails the admirable standards too much since he fails to Hina who saved the world while Hodoka just saves one person.
  • Kirby Reed: Too jerkish to qualify as PG or NPG, and also fails the admirable standards compared to major characters such as Sidney, Gale, Dewey, Sam, Tara and Randy.

  • Rocky (Battle for Dream Island): While he fails the admirable standards and is too standard, he has a slight moral agency issues.
  • Shazam (Injustice): Too many corrupting factors, has standard heroism and didn't redeem himself.
  • Sheldon Cooper: Too jerkish and arrogant to qualify. Not to mention that his heroism are bog-standard.
  • Unikitty (The LEGO Movie): Too much of a berserker and is outclassed by other characters.
  • Wilbur Robinson: Fails the admirable standards to his father Lewis and refused to take responsibility for his recklessness.
