Mowgli is the titular protagonist of the 2018 Netflix movie Mowgli: Legend of the Jungle. He is a young feral boy who was raised by a pack of wolves while seeking to kill Shere Khan, a violent crippled Bengal tiger. He is also the adoptive son of Nisha and Vihaan after the death of his biological human parents who were killed by Shere Khan.
He was portrayed by Rohan Chand.

- He is a very sympathetic character.

- He takes his training seriously.
- He becomes determined to complete The Running. (The Trial to earn full membership in the wolf pack).
- He felt remorse after yelling at Bhoot.
- When Akela gets attacked by his challengers thanks to Shere Khan, he saves the former with a burning tree branch stolen from the Man-Village by fighting off Shere Khan with it.
- He listened to Bagheera's advice to stay with the villagers and gain their trust and started to enjoy life in the village.
- He returned the other piece of Hathi's tusk to him.
- While he did kill Shere Khan, it was done out of necessity rather than sadism, as the latter was completely beyond redemption and was too dangerous to be left alive.
What Prevents Him From Being Pure Good?[]
- He informed Hathi of Lockwood's whereabouts (after learning that he hunts for trophies) which resulted in his implied death, although Lockwood had no idea the animals were sapient and were friends with Mowgli.
- He yelled at Bhoot out of anger, saying he wasn't special and practically disowned him, but felt remorse for it, making this a minor prevention.
