His Good Ranking[]
What Makes Him Close to Being Pure Good?[]
- As a child, he was very guilty of not saving his brother in the past until Steven comforts him stating none of this was his fault due to the fact he was just a child.
- While he did attempt to kill Bushman, this was because he became greedy and decide to kill everyone and shot El-Faouly leaving Marc with no choice but to stop him which fails.
- As Moon Knight, he has protected and saved many lives from bad people for many years.
- He ends up breaking down and crying in utter agony on his mother due to her hypocritical abuse of him. Given the circumstance, it's pretty hard not to blame Marc in this situation due to the fact his mother was a horrible person.
- When he tells Grant to let him take over, Grant was at first reluctant to do so but then decides to accept it and allows Marc to transform himself into Moon Knight. But while he did kill the creature it was mostly out of self-defense given how cornered he is.
- After Marc took over, He stopped the Jackel by tricking it into getting impaled by the pole.
- He protected Layla El-Faouly from Mogart's men and defeated Mogart himself.
- Despite not having any powers he was still determined to stop Harrow from succeeding his goal.
- He tries to find Steven in the hospital.
- He admitted to Steven that he wanted Grant to live a happy life while also believing that his mother loved him and was still alive not wanting to him to live the same tragedy as him.
- When Steven sacrificed himself for Marc not to die, he tries to tell Taweret to stop the ship to save Steven.
- Even after he arrives at the Field of Reeds he was still saddened for Steven's death and refuses to accept peace in the Field of Reeds, and leaves to save Grant, despite Taweret's warning that he won't be able to return.
- He admits in front of the dead Steven that he is the only superpower he has before becoming frozen.
- After being resurrected, he and Steven decide to accept each other as they both attempt to save everyone from Arthur and Ammit.
- He and Marc stopped Arthur and Ammit destruction saving millions of lives in the process by transporting Ammit into Arthur's body.
- Both decided to spare Arthur instead of killing him knowing that the two of them are no longer a threat anymore as well as being identical while also stating that Khonshu should do it himself before convicting him to end their bargain losing their powers in the process.
- While he did kill others, this was because Jake Lockley took over both Marc and Steven's bodies and both were completely unaware of his existence even when battling their enemies, meaning it was not their fault most of the enemies were killed.
- While he did hate Steven in the beginning, and even threatened that he'll throw him off if he goes close to Layla, he ends up subverting it after being resurrected and accepted each other in the end.
What Prevents Him From Being Pure Good?[]
- He is pretty lethal to his enemies, having murdered numerous criminals under Khonshu's command. That said, this is only a minor prevention since he clearly derives little to no pleasure from this, in addition to only following Khonshu's orders.
Trivia[]
- Given Steven Grant and Jake Lockley are his alter-egos, Marc Spector is the only character to be on every single type of hero on the Moral Scale (excluding Heroic Benchmark).
