His Good Ranking[]
What Makes Him Close to Being Pure Good?[]
- When his younger brother, Garrett, was kidnapped by William Afton, he attempted to give chase in an attempt to rescue him, but fails.
- Following Garrett's kidnapping and being racked with constant guilt, he researched dream theory as a way to figure out who his kidnapper was to avenge him. When he started seeing the Missing Children in his dreams, he constantly tried getting them to help him.
- He tried his best to provide for his younger sister, despite losing multiple jobs, so she wouldn't be taken by their cruel aunt.
- When he thought he saw a child abduction in progress he instantly gave chase, though it turned out to be a misunderstanding.
- He decided to take a job offer at Freddy's from Steve Raglan, knowing it was the only way to get cash to keep custody of Abby, despite previously refusing and unaware that Raglan was actually William Afton in disguise.
- When he hears Abby screaming, he immediately rushes to find her and tries to fight Freddy with a chair, though he backs off as it turns out that the animatronics are friendly to his sister. He even bonds with them later by building a fort. Even after this, he still keeps his guard around them so they won't harm her.
- Upon realizing the children in his dreams are haunting the animatronics from Freddy's, he tries to help and befriend them, while also hoping they know what happened to Garrett.
- After Abby is shocked by Bonnie's guitar, he instantly runs to her aid and, after being warned by Vanessa that she will shoot him if he brought his sister to Freddy's again, he decides to let Abby stay at home instead for her own safety.
- Since there is no one else to look after Abby as his sister can no longer accompany him at work anymore, he ultimately decides to have Jane look over Abby while he works at Freddy's, despite his aunt's cruelty and both him and Abby being visibly unhappy with the situation.
- After being offered to have a dream of a perfect and complete family every night by Golden Freddy, despite initially accepting it, he decides to reject the offer for Abby and tries to fight back to the animatronics when they begin attacking him.
- After discovering William Afton has brainwashed the animatronics into trying to kill Abby so she'll join them, he immediately rushes back to Freddy's to save his sister, who was lured back to the pizzeria by Golden Freddy after he killed Jane (although she deserved it).
- He sneaks in through the vents to the pizzeria and incapacitates Freddy and Bonnie by electrifying them.
- He saves Abby from being put into an Ella springlock suit by Chica to prevent his sister from being killed and becoming another possessed animatronic.
- When he's attacked by Mr. Cupcake, he tells Abby to run and stays behind to fight the animatronic, eventually disabling him with his taser.
- Upon encountering William Afton, he tries to shock him and attempts to fight back despite being heavily outmatched.
- He and Abby carry the injured and unconscious Vanessa out of the collapsing restaurant after she is fatally stabbed by her father for trying to stop him from killing both Mike and Abby.
- After returning to his normal life, he continues to take care of Abby and constantly visits the comatose Vanessa in the hospital out of gratitude for helping them.
- Doesn’t hold any ill will towards the animatronics despite the murders that they committed, understanding they’re just unfortunate and innocent children who were murdered and used as pawns by Afton.
What Prevents Him From Being Pure Good?[]
- He can be a jerk sometimes, such as rudely snatching pills from the man he bought them from while he was trying to give him some advice.
- He didn't make the best first impression as he's shown to be wrathful at times, as he publicly assaulted an innocent man in front of his son due to believing he was a child kidnapper. That being said, this mostly stemmed from his severe PTSD of losing Garrett to a kidnapper as a child and he didn't want history to repeat itself, so it comes across as a minor prevention.
Trivia[]
- He is technically the second version of Michael to be Near Pure Good after his original game counterpart.
- Though he is currently a Near Pure Good, this could changes upcoming sequel Five Nights at Freddy's 2
