- Confronting Hawk for vandalising the Miyagi Do dojo and taking the medal of honor for himself and taking the medal back showing he is willing to do the right thing, even when it comes to the opposition.
- While he briefly went through being corrupted by Kreese after the latter told him to finish off Hawk when he had defeated him, Miguel apologized the following day once Johnny reminded him.
- He returned the medal of honour to the Larusso house and gave it to Robby, despite the conflict that had happened between the two.
- He tries to be civil around Robby and Sam, knowing how awkward it was at the roller rink.

- He tried to convince Hawk to become part of Johnny’s new dojo and not become a bully instead.

- He expressed clear disgust at Johnny’s new behaviour, such as when Johnny told him to “take Hawk’s ass out” and when he told him to “show everyone and Larusso who was really the best”, as he was one of the first people to realize that Johnny was becoming way too over-competitive and prioritizing getting revenge on Daniel over all else.
- While he did leave the tournament because of Johnny’s talk making him feel uncomfortable with competing, considering Eagle Fang was nowhere near winning the tournament and the bigger priority was to not let Cobra Kai win, he winded up giving Miyagi Do a better chance of emerging victorious if two of their fighters reached to the finals. Especially considering that if he did win the whole tournament, then Cobra Kai would have already won the tournament.
- In his note he left for his mother before travelling to Mexico, he told her to apologise to Johnny for bailing out the tournament, demonstrating his reluctance to leave her.

- He broke up the fight between Sam and Tory when the former attacked the latter for keeping the secret about what happened during the All Valley tournament.
- In spite of him and Tory's relationship being a negative one at the time, he was still able to sympathize with her, since he knew how hard it was for her trying to speak out. After telling Sam this, he allowed the two girls to forgive one another.
- He protected Robby twice at the fight that broke out among the members of the Cobra Kai dojo.
- When Kenny got mad at Robby for lying to him about his allegiance, he defended Robby by warning Kenny that the latter doesn’t want to head down the path Silver ended up going down.

- His victory against Axel leads him to becoming the Sekai Taikai World Champion.
- His performance in the finals and hard work got him accepted to Stanford University.
- He goes to Okinawa with Sam for the summer to help her settle in before he heads to Stanford.
What Prevents Him From Being Pure Good?[]
- He can be quite unfaithful in relationships, as shown when he soft-cheated on Tory with Sam. While he felt remorse for it, this trait still seems apparent in season 5, as he kissed a girl at a party, and immediately got back with Sam in the same night. Although, in his defense, Sam did broke up with him first before he kissed the girl so that's a minor prevention.
- He can still react with some violence, as he had no problem starting a fight with Robby after the latter kicked him off the balcony (even if he avoided hurting him in the same way). He also acts impulsively in his attitude towards Axel Kovačević, which is indirectly responsible for the general brawl in the Sekai Taikai.
- Although Axel started the fight, Miguel chose to respond to the provocation out of anger, due to the Iron Dragons male captain's aggressive attitude towards him.
