Megan Garris is the deuteragonist of Friday the 13th Part VI: Jason Lives.
She is the rebellious daughter of sheriff Mike Garris and love interest of Tommy Jarvis who she will later help take down the titular antagonist Jason Voorhees.

What Makes Her Close to Being Pure Good?[]
- She is the only one friendly to Tommy and believes his story about Jason being real.
- She acquires the supplies that Tommy needs to put an end to Jason by chaining him to the bottom of Crystal Lake.
- She breaks Tommy out of jail and drives him to the camp so he can defeat Jason and end his killing spree.
- She takes the kids to safety and calms them down when her and Tommy arrive.
- She starts looking for her dad when she gets there and stands up to Jason after he kills him.
- She helps Tommy with his plan to kill Jason and distracts him so Tommy can get prepared.
- She runs back to the kids cabin to make sure they are safe after she believes Jason is trying to kill them.
- She kills Jason when he gets a hold of her and Tommy by cutting his neck open with the boat propeller, finally defeating him and ending his killing spree for 7 years.
- She saves Tommy in the end by swimming into the water and revives him with CPR after Jason drowns him.
What Prevents Her From Being Pure Good[]
- She fails the admirable standard to Tommy however, Tommy has more screentime than her and she did save his life, so this prevention is minor.
- She stole the deputy's gun and held it to his head in a plan for Tommy to escape, also mocking him while doing it, making her mischievous.
