Marie is one of the two deuteragonists (alongside Callie) of the Splatoon series, serving as one of the two tritagonists (alongside Callie) of Splatoon, the deuteragonist of Splatoon 2's story mode, a cameo character in Splatoon 2 Octo Expansion, and one of the three tritagonists (alongside Callie and Agent 3) Splatoon 3's story mode, titled "Return of the Mammalians". She is one of the Squid Sisters (alongside Callie), and also Agent 2 of the New Squidbeak Splatoon.
She is voiced by Mari Kikuma.

What Makes Her Close to Being Pure Good?[]
- While she started to be a snarky jerk at times, such as making fun of people, and can also be somewhat lazy at times, she doesn't show it again as much if ever implying she subverted it.
- Helped Agent 3 (along with Callie) when Cap'n Cuttlefish goes missing.
- Created the Calamari Inkantation used to free the octarians from their hypnosis, sung by her and Callie during Agent 3's fight against DJ Octavio.
- Recruited Agent 4 to help her find her missing cousin Callie.
- Saved Callie from her brainwashing.
- Sung the Spicy Calamari Inkantation, possibly freeing more Octarians.
- Sung the Calamari Inkantation 3Mix, along with Callie and Deep Cut, which had magical aura that powered up Smallfry, turning them into Hugefry, and, along with help from New Agent 3 and Octavio, able to defeat Mr. Grizz, in turn saving the world from being flooded with Fuzzy Ooze.
- While she seemed to be competitive during splatfests, often being a sore loser, and occasionally rubbing her victories in Callie's face, she seems to have subverted that in Splatoon 3.
What Prevents Her From Being Pure Good?[]
- It's currently unknown if she has fully subverted all of her corrupting qualities as despite not showing her earliest sarcasm as much as she used to, there's not enough evidence to prove she threw it all away. Although it doesn't change the fact that she's started to stop showing it, so this is an extremely minor prevention.
Trivia[]
- While she is currently Near Pure Good, if the Splatoon franchise continues and if some of the original characters return, she might become Pure Good if she abandons her corrupting qualities.
