Mallow is one of the five main characters in Super Mario RPG: Legend of the Seven Stars. He is a young Nimbus prince who wants to return home to his birth family and help Mario in his adventures.
His Good Ranking[]
What Makes Him Close to Being Pure Good?[]
- He teamed up with Mario in his travels, helping him in his quest to once again save the world.
- Even though he has a few moments where he loses his temper, it is either understandable or he quickly apologizes for the tension.
- While his weather effects can cause minor problems for others, such as it pouring rain whenever he begins to cry, he never means any inconvenience. He even sucks up his mix of fury and sadness so Mario wouldn't have to be soaked before teaming up with him.
- Helps Mario and Geno throughout the story to recover the seven Star Pieces and take out Smithy's forces so Geno's home The Star Road could be fixed and wishes would be able to be granted.
- He prevented Mario from impulsively fighting Bowyer.
- Even after Mario eventually leads him back to his own parents and homeland, he still insists on two occasions to his parents that he wants to keep helping Mario and complete their quest.
- He still loves Frogfucius after reconnecting with his parents.
- While Princess Peach and Bowser both have greater accomplishments than Mallow, he has nothing close to the resources they do and stands out for his own willingness to essentially help save two worlds, not to mention that they both have much more screen time than him.
- In addition to being comical and often lightening a dark tone, he has a clear sweet personality and lacks any corrupting traits.
What Prevents Him From Being Pure Good?[]
- He fails the admirable standards to Mario, given he only assists in Mario's heroism and doesn't exactly have any unique acts of his own. However, given how much Mallow personally manages to stand out for his much shorter role time, this is an extremely minor prevention.
